Best use:
Hearts is great for simultaneous g-spot stimulation and nubby stimulation of the first few inches inside me! Though the slightly larger head meant I had to relax a little more to take this toy, once inside, it provided great g-spot stimulation. The tricky was to hold the toy nearly vertical so the side of the head was massaging my g-spot as the nubs tickled the few inches just inside me. One perk to this toy that hasn’t been true of all Don Wands glass toys is that it has a flared base, meaning that it could be used anally without any worry of losing it in the deep dark cavern of the ass. In any case, lube is a definite recommendation for this toy—though the glass itself is slippery, the nubs could be irritating without some lube. The flared base also means Hearts can be stood up and displayed prominently. I’m thinking this could be a centerpiece at a sexy Valentine’s Day party.

- Let me sing the praises of glass. Hearts is made of Pyrex glass, which is resistant to shattering and can be heated without danger of explosion. Hooray! Hearts feels incredibly solid without being heavy. Glass also absorbs heat really nicely so sticking Hearts in a bowl of cold or hot water for 5-10 seconds is a surefire way to play with temperature. Be warned—Hearts does feel somewhat cold at first if you don’t heat or cool it, so if that’s not your thing, I’d recommend holding it tightly between your legs for a minute to let it warm up some. Think of it as foreplay—you’re heating up, it’s heating up, making everything better later on. Another great thing about glass toys is that the nubs on them (in this case, hearts!) can be felt extremely well. No more of these toys with nubs that are purely ornamental—this is the real thing. One aspect I particularly appreciated was that they could be felt really well through a condom. Glass isn’t hard to clean, but I prefer to use condoms on toys generally, so appreciate that I didn’t lose any of the fun because of it.

- As I wrote about in the use section, Hearts is designed to stimulate the entire vagina at once, which is absolutely fantastic. The somewhat larger head will be easy to accommodate for most users, though everyone should warm up to any toy slowly.

- The straight shaft of Hearts initially worried me but turned out not to be a problem at all. So long as I held her at a 75 degree angle or so, she provided stimulation in all the places that mattered.

- Though I don’t normally care about packaging, I make an exception for this toy and give a shout out to Don Wands for the shmancy purple padded sleeve they provided. Pyrex glass doesn’t break easily but I specialize in klutziness so it’s nice to know my glass toy will have some padding in case I decide to abuse it at some point. The sleeve comes with a drawstring so Hearts won’t fall out. Hearts and her sleeve can take their place next to Treeze Wave, in its sleeve, and maybe they can have little padded pouch sex toy babies together. It all reminds me of the hush puppies, if folks remember those. But I digress.
