The Icicles No. 1 is presented by Pipedream (maker) and EdenFantasys

100% Pyrex glass. It's beautiful crystal clear with no discernible flaws or air bubbles (in mine). This hand blown beauty has no smell or flavor and is non-porous so it can be sanitized easily. This smooth glass wand features a spiral wrap around the shaft which makes stroking it against the labia and (gentle) thrusting feel fantastic.

This bad boy is 9 inches in length, which is slightly longer than my forearm. The added length is great since it allows you to get a good grip on the toy, which is important since "lube + glass = EXTREMELY slippery". The spiral wrap adds a pleasant sensation while thrusting and the ball "handle" makes the toy okay for careful anal use. I stress CAREFUL anal use: gentle thrusting is fine, but don't try to push the toy in too far or thrust too aggressively since that may result in bruising or tearing those delicate tissues. The product specs list the circumference as 4 3/4" - I just want to point out that particular measurement is the widest part of the ball: the shaft's circumference is 3 1/4" which is a girth even a beginner can accommodate.

The Icicles line really has surpassed my expectations. The glass is quality, the construction flawless - all the toy designs of the line are well thought out and well executed. It held up to my personally high standards for a glass toy. The smooth, hard, glass is just so pretty to look at and it feels like nothing else. Pipedream really went the extra mile with this line.

Since it is made of glass you have to ensure that you don't drop it on any hard surfaces. If you find you've chipped or cracked it, DO NOT USE IT. If you're using your glass toy for temperature play, DO NOT go from one extreme to the other (i.e. don't take it out of a hot water bath and stick it in the freezer) since this extreme temperature change can "shock" the glass and make it crack.

It can be used with ANY lube type, and washes easily with soap and water, toy wipes, or toy cleaner. It may be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution or boiled. It's also top rack dishwasher safe.

The Icicle line has some slick packaging. The boxes feature artsy-fartsy pictures of the products with a magnetized flap that opens to reveal the toy through a clear plastic window. The toy itself is nestled in a high density foam, so while the box doesn't make for ideal storage you can be sure when EdenFantasys ships the toy to you it's not going to get damaged en route.
