The Si-x type r sleeve is a hand held masturbation sleeve, designed to add stimulation to the penis while stroking. As I, unfortunately, do not have a penis, I will be quoting my fiance during this review; he is the one in this relationship with the proper anatomy for this specific toy. I would also like to state that my fiance is new to sex toys, especially masturbators, and has only used one other, so his experience as well as mine with them is limited. The only other toy of this type we have used is a more realistic "vagina" made of Cyberskin, which while enjoyable can be a pain to clean. I am usually the one who cleans that one after he uses it, mostly because it takes some patience and care that he doesn't want to deal with. Under my instruction, if he wanted to masturbate when I wasn't home, he would rinse it quickly and leave it on the sink for me to take care of when I got home. Gross, right? I know, but I am a bit anal about these things, no pun intended. No big deal really, for me anyway, but I found out that he was quite embarrassed to have me come home and know what he had been up to by the evidence on the sink. Naturally, this caused him to not use it very often.It's funny to me the little things that my partner can be embarrassed by, especially when I am so open about my own masturbation and the openness we share during sex and play together. Once I found out about this, I just had to remedy the situation. I chose this one because it was black and, well, that is the color I pick for my toys whenever possible. Also, the description said it was ribbed AND nubbed, where all the others were one or the other.

The Si-x type r is made out of TPE, which the way it is used on this toy makes it feel like foam rubber. My first impression upon opening was that it didn't have a smell out of the box, which I guess I was expecting. The second thing I noticed was that it felt like it was made out of marshmallows! Very soft and squishy. We were pleasantly surprised that the material looked, felt, and smelled okay. I had been under the impression, because of the low price I guess, that we were in for something cheaply made. That was not the case here. The material is very soft, yet durable enough to be flipped inside out, albeit carefully, to clean.
The textures on the inside are more than just being ribbed and nubbed. It has lumps and nodules in there as well. There is a picture on the box of what it is supposed to look like inside. You can see on the picture of the box here, if you cycle to the last picture on the product page. Now this looks really cool, but my man says that he couldn't really feel all the separate textures. Maybe you would feel them more distinctly if you didn't use lube, but he has used lube every time and I am not sure how good it would feel "dry". I stuck my fingers in and can feel some textures going on in there, but when I turn it inside out to clean it I can see why you might not feel as much. The material is simply too soft and squishy to be able to feel the nodules very clearly. It simply all gets squished together, especially if you are applying any pressure to it. I hope this is making sense because I don't know how else to describe it. The point to all this is that while the different textures add to the experience, they aren't overwhelming.- Material:

The design of this sleeve is pretty plain and not designed to look or feel like a real vagina. The length is generous and the material seems to allow for larger penises, although a smaller one would still get pleasure. The description says it can fit a 2" thick penis. I tested this out with some of my bigger dildos, and can safely say that this toy can take some cock! While the description says it has a vaginal depth of 5 and 1/2", I would say that it is stretchy enough to fit up to 7", though being rough might cause damage to the toy. As far as tightness, it isn't super tight, but it is easy to hold onto and wrap your hand around so you can squeeze it as tight as you want. My man likes when I use both hands and grip as tight as I can. I would say it is a great fit for the average user. The size isn't too large to store comfortable in a drawer or wrap in a towel or even a sock for travel.
The only complaint I have about the design is that it is NOT open ended and you can't flush it out to clean it. The closed end adds some benefits, such as the feeling of hitting that "back wall" as well as creating suction if you “burp" the air out when first entering the tip of your penis. My man likes this feature, but it does make it harder to clean, which is what I was trying to avoid.- Color:

Functions / Performance / Controls:
I do want to mention the noise this toy can make during use. Due to the nodules and the closed end, you get a much louder "slurping" noise during use than we did with our other masturbator. I gave it a two on the "Bee" scale because it may be heard by someone if it is really quiet in the house. Other than that this toy is super easy to use... just use some lube and "insert tab A into slot B".

Care and Maintenance:
This toy is easier to care for than our Cyberskin vagina. Warm water and some antibacterial hand soap is all you need. The trick will be in flushing it out with the closed end. I usually rinse it best I can, then gently turn it inside out for a better cleaning. I let it air dry, turn it right side out then let that dry too. Once it is completely dry, I put it in a plastic zip top bag of its own. The material does tend to get a little tacky and can collect towel lint and hair. I have dusted it with a little cornstarch, though that is a preference. I just want to make sure it stays soft and dry. You can safely use silicone based or water bases lubes.

Packaging:
Comes wrapped in plastic and tucked into a box with a sample of lube. I discarded this lube, so I don't know how good it was. Any instructions would have to be on the box itself and mostly it is all in Japanese. The only good thing about the box is that it is small, so you could use this to store it if you wanted. There is also a drawing of what it is supposed to look like on the inside, showing you all of the textures.

I would also like to add that this material seems to hold heat in pretty well. The lube might make it feel cold at first, but it takes mere seconds to work up enough heat to feel some nice warmth.

Experience:
So how does it feel? My man wasn't really impressed. While we loved the simple design and ease of cleaning, it simply didn't feel as good as our other masturbator. He has indeed come from using this, but it wasn't anything he felt was exciting. He says it is better than just his hand, but the only reason he will use this one over the one we have is that is easier to clean it himself.
