Pros:

Flavored, water based, good aroma, thick.

Cons:

Contains Sucralose, gets sticky, needs reapplied often, bad taste.

Best use:

Wet Lubricants has come up with a sugar-free, artificially flavored lubricant known as Wet Gellee that is available in unflavored or strawberry-kiwi. I received the strawberry-kiwi gellee for a description review. Normally, I stay far away from gel lubricants. They just are not my favorite to use. However, I did accept this assignment because I had also ordered some other strawberry flavored lubricants, and I believed this would be a good comparison. I tried multiple oral sex lubricants and sadly I must report that the Wet Gellee was at the bottom of the list and rated the most poorly.

Nonetheless, if you do like jelly lubricants with the combination of flavor, this might be the right lubricant for you. It is much thicker than other lubricants and is supposed to stay in place longer. However, while using this lubricant I found it to be distasteful, sticky, and short lived. Out of all the flavored lubricants I have tried, I would lean more towards a JO flavored lubricant or something like motion lotion.

  • Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity:

    Wet Gellee is a clear, extremely thick lubricant. It is probably the thickest lubricant I have used. It does not run and was easy to apply. When applying it to the genital area, it did stay in place before putting it to action. It is easy to dispense. It is in a squeeze bottle with a small opening that allows for controlled pouring. Wet Lubricants also claims that this is a water based lubricant that is sugar free. It is sugar free and does have water in it. However, it also has Sucralose (an artificial sweetener) and castor oil. I am not sure that it being sugar free is a good thing. Also it does have some oil in it. If you are sensitive to oil products, I would sway away from getting this product.

  • Taste / Aroma:

    The Wet Gellee strawberry-kiwi lubricant smells really good. The strawberry is more powerful and smells very close to all other strawberry lubricants. The aroma of kiwi is not really noticeable. The strawberry tends to overpower it. As for taste, imagine a bottle of strawberry-kiwi lotion. Yes it smells great and leaves your skin smelling wonderful too. However, if you were to taste it, it is not as pleasant. The Wet Gellee lubricant is very similar to this. The taste is horrid and I just did not like anything about it. It turned off the oral sex experience. Neither my partner or I enjoyed the taste. It tastes just like lotion with a weird bitter after taste. This is probably the worst flavored lubricant we have used.

  • Performance:

    When using it, the Wet Gellee feels really sticky. It dries up very quickly and the taste is not appealing either. It does not last any longer than a thinner lubricant because it becomes so sticky. This is a lubricant you are definitely going to want to wash up afterward as well. It leaves the genital area very slimy and sticky. One positive thing I can say though, is that it is non-staining. We did not have any issues with it leaving stains on our bedding. It can be wiped off with a wet cloth if leaking or spilling occurs.
