Wet Gellee - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by JazMinBunni

I have really enjoyed using Wet Gellee as additional lubrication for hands-only masturbatory use, as well as in combination with a variety of toys and penile sleeves/masturbating toys. A definite positive use for this lube compared to other standard water-based or slicker silicone lubes is that Gellee loves to stay in place where you apply it, and I have found it to be a good go-to for anal fingering and penetration with toys as well. This lube holds out well with vaginal lubrication too, providing a great start for women to use hands or toys of their own.

Compared to other water-based lubes I have found, I enjoy the thicker consistency of Gellee over the former for anal play, as it stays in place and maintains the slickness of my toys throughout each experience.

One thing I would like to make note of is if you plan on playing while in the shower, delay applying this lubricant until the last moment, as it is water based and will be easily washed away by the flowing water.

When using this lubricant it comes off as a little bit greasy. This will be noticeable if you apply some and then touch the bottle again while it is on your fingers - it almost feels like sunscreen almost completely rubbed in. When using just a small bead about the size of the spout on my open palm, it maintains its shape. Turning my hand sideways, the lube does not flow down my skin and when upside down it remains in place, even when bobbing my hand up and down the lube did not drop off of my hand. Pretty good for staying in place!

The texture is almost describable as a bubbly jelly, as when you pour some onto your hand you will have spots that look almost chunky from bubbles, but when you start to rub it in it applies smoothly and makes all that it comes into contact with very slick. Even after it has lasted its duration, it makes your hands feel pretty soft and not majorly sticky.

This lube is fun to use when applying for masturbation due to the viscosity, as it won't drip or run down away from you while in use, which is a definite plus.

The scent is moderate for this lubricant. It is not overpowering, but is not scent-free for sure. It is hard to place the scent of this lube. As it is supposed to be the flavor-free version, it is probably meant to be a very neutral scent. It reminds me very slightly of the scent of jelly dildos when they are first taken out of packaging, though not nearly as strongly scented. The flavor of this lube is actually quite enjoyable to taste when licking from a partner or even your own skin. Taste of the lube is designed to be flavor-free but is a mix of sweet at first with a bit of tartness finishing it off. Licking it from skin provides a bit of a sweeter neutral flavor than tasting it on its own. I have used this lube in combination with oral foreplay, and it works and tastes acceptable for being flavor-free.

You do not need to apply an overly large amount of this lubricant. It gets great mileage out of even a quarter-sized amount. To keep things really slippery and fun for the night, I recommend reapplying every few minutes as with most water-based lubes, your body will start to absorb it and will need more for extended play. As it is a water-based lubricant, clean up is a breeze - a bit of warm water by itself or with soap, and you will be squeaky clean and lube free. Since this lube is also colorless, you do not have to worry about stains on fabrics or clothing, and it can dry away on its own given enough time. When applying during intercourse, Wet Gellee often has enough lasting power that you won't have to reapply between position changes either.

Packaging is fairly minimal for Wet Gellee, coming in a bottle by itself without any sort of box to unpack it from. The flip up top is easy to open with one hand but not loose enough that it could open by accident during handling.
