I love the concept behind this toy. The functions are great (for as long as they last before you accidentally hit the controller). The design is cute and the controller is easy to hold in your hand. But I want to be in control of the controller - I don't want to have to fight the controller to stay on the setting I want. So this toy gets a 2 star rating from me. Read more

Best use:

The iTap Bullet is part of a new touch activated line of vibrators. It is best used for clitoral or labial stimulation, but it could be used to stimulate any external part of the body. Since it is not waterproof, vaginal use is not recommended. The vibrations are fairly strong and deep even on the lowest setting. Because of it's small size it would work great either with a partner or alone.

    The iTap controller is made of ABS plastic, which has no smell or taste. The bullet is also made of the same plastic, but has a metallic silver coating. The bullet is actually made of two distinct parts with a definite ridge where they meet, but this is not noticeable during use.     The iTap Bullet is a corded bullet that is attached to a small slim controller that fits very easily even in the smallest hand. The controller is pear shaped and is 4 1/2 inches long and the width is 2 inches at it's widest point. This uses 2 AAA batteries which are easily inserted into the back of the controller.

    The cord is 31 inches long, making it easy to keep the controller out of your way when choosing not to hold it. The egg shaped bullet is a decent size of 2 1/2 inches long with a 3 1/4 inch circumference. This means it will cover a pretty large area for a bullet vibrator.

    The vibrations of this bullet are controlled by touching a spot near the tip of the controller. It needs only the slightest touch, because is extremely sensitive and very easy to skip a function level. There are five different functions: the first one is a medium level steady vibration, the next is a very strong steady vibration, the third is two short then one long pulse, the fourth is a rapid pulse, and finally the fifth is a high low pulse. You must cycle through all of the functions to turn it off. The vibrations are felt equally throughout the whole bullet. This is a fairly noisy vibrator. It would not be heard through a closed door but definitely can be heard through the covers or across a room.

  • Care and Maintenance:

    Care needs to be taken with cleaning, because where the cord goes into the bullet is rather open and it would be very easy for water to get in and ruin it. I would suggest using a slightly wet washcloth with soap on it to wipe it down, then wiping it again with a clean damp cloth. A condom should be used for sharing since this is not sterilizable. I would also suggest being careful with the cord, because it doesn't seem to be strong enough to withstand heavy use.

  • Personal comments:

    I have mixed feeling about this vibrator.

    The pluses are that I like the size, texture and firmness of the bullet The vibrations and functions are very nice. If you like fairly strong vibrations, this will get you to an orgasm. I like how slim the controller is and how easy it is to change functions, but that is a drawback as well.

    The minuses are that it is too easy to change or even skip a function. Also it isn't easy to clean and doesn't seem to be made to last for very long.
