It can also be used to stimulate the nipples, testes and penis, if desired.Hustler's Lil Helper can be used during PIV for extra clitoral stimulation, during self play, to help bring one to orgasm during sexual play, or for teasing and warm up. Material / Texture:
The toy is made of medical grade silicone. It had no odor coming out of the box nor at any other time. The texture is smooth, with a small indented "Hustler" on each side of the vibrator. The indentations, although fairly deep, cannot be felt during play.
Other than that the texture of the vibrator is smooth with expected drag from the silicone.
The toy has a bulb or blunt hook on the end of it, which can nestle into the clitoris or be used for shallow penetration. This bulb is on the thick side, about 5 inches in circumference.
Those who do not enjoy girthy toys can simply use the toy as a clitoral stimulator.
The base of the toy is evidently made of plastic, as it has a slightly different texture than the silicone "business end", and the base and battery cap also have a "velvet" texture, although this part of the toy won't be used for penetration or stimulation for most people. -
Design / Shape / Size:
The toy's body is fairly rigid and cannot be bent, but simultaneous vaginal and clitoral stimulation can be achieved by inserting the bulb and using the shaft of the toy for the clitoris. It has a rather unique shape, and the smooth, wide clitoral bulb can cover the clitoris well or even stimulate the G Spot in women who are built with G Spots close to the vaginal opening.
The vibrations seem to be equally strong on all points of the body of the toy.
The toy's bulb is about 5 inches in circumference (see above), the shaft is about 4 inches in circumference, and the entire toy is about 5 inches long with about 3 inches available for shallow penetration.
Those who enjoy girthy but shallow penetration may enjoy the toy this way, but most women can easily use the toy as a clitoral vibrator without penetration. (Beginner or advanced makes no difference: people like what they enjoy, and "experience" with sex toys makes no difference in size, girthiness, or anything else.)
The toy is small enough to be held in the hand and can easily be hidden, if necessary.

Functions / Performance / Controls:
The toy is controlled by a single button at the base of the toy.
The toy cycles through 5 functions; you start the toy by holding the button down for a few seconds. The first two remind me of an engine revving and chugging, but there doesn't seem to be much difference in strength between the two revving patterns, then the toy moves into a straight vibration, then a pattern with 4 dashes, then a pattern with 4 short bursts and a longer dash. The toy can be turned off at any time in the cycle by holding down the power button for about 3 to 4 seconds or so. It has an annoying tendency to simply go back to the beginning of the cycle if the button isn't held down long enough; however, there is no need to cycle through all the patterns to turn the toy off. Sometimes, starting the toy can be temperamental. Sometimes it takes a few tries before the toy realizes you have hit the Power button twice or have held it down for a few seconds, and it then turns on.
I have some hand strength issues and did not have any problem using the control button of this toy.
There is only one straight vibration pattern, the rest are pattern functions. The revving functions will work well for most women who usually don't enjoy patterns, as there is really no break between the vibrational bursts. Think of a tiny Harley Davidson motor chugging and you have the idea of what the first two vibrations are like, albeit in a much less powerful form.
The toy is fairly loud. It sounds like a loud electric toothbrush or a very loud phone on vibrate. Oddly, despite sounding fairly loud when the vibrator is being held, it cannot be heard through a closed wooden hollow door at about 6-8 ft from the door on a soft surface.
It performed amazingly well underwater and made pretty little patterns on the surface of the water, in ripples coming from both ends of the toy on the surface of the water. Getting a picture of this proved nearly impossible, though. When opened after being fully submerged, the inside of the toy was dry as a bone and the toy worked perfectly. It is truly waterproof.
The toy's vibrations are moderately strong. (The revving or "chugging" patterns were this reviewer's favorites.) They fall somewhere in the frequency spectrum between moderately buzzy and thrumming. Those who are expecting Wahl or even Fun Factory type deepness and thrumming may be a bit disappointed, but this toy is not overly buzzy during most of its settings and patterns.
If you need more power than this toy provides to be brought to orgasm, this toy certainly works nicely as a teasing and warm up vibrator.- Functions:

Care and Maintenance:
The toy takes two AAA batteries, which fit easily into the toy's waterproof body. The battery compartment is accessed by gently twisting the base off about a quarter turn and then removing the base.
Like many silicone toys, the Lil Helper attracts lint and specks and hair like crazy. Storing it clean and carefully wrapped will help with this, but some may want to rinse the toy before every use and everyone will want to clean the toy in hot running water and soap after every single use. Toy cleaners can be used, but soap and water should follow.
Make sure you get into the little indentations that the word "Hustler" makes on the toy on both sides when cleaning.
This toy can be used with water based lubricants. Most silicone lubricants can affect some silicone toys adversely, so if you insist on using a silicone lubricant, test it on a small, out of the way location on the toy's body. I would personally stay with water based lubes.
Store this toy in its original packaging, or in a toy bag, or wrapped in a cotton handkerchief. Avoid allowing the toy to touch other toys made from silicone, silicone/TPR blends, Jelly etc., as melting or deformation of the toys can result. Wrap the toy well in a handkerchief to ensure that no other toys will touch it while it is being stored.- Care and cleaning:

Hustler packages this toy in a black cardboard and plastic box. The toy lies in a plastic tray and is on display in the window of the black box. The box is not discreet as it says "Hustler's Lil Helper" in one place and Hustler toys in an other. The writing on the box is white letters on a black background in a very small font, and may be hard for some people to read. The box may be used for storage if desired. There is a folded up paper with general directions and diagrams on it, but it is not specific to this particular toy, so figuring out how to put the batteries in can be slightly challenging.
The box has some unusual "statistics" on it, which the veracity of cannot be verified.
On the side of the box, it tells us how many calories different "types" of sexual play and orgasms burn.
