Odd but cute and unique, the Extended Reach Lady Finger sends gentle, deep vibrations through your entire labia to soothe and stimulate. From your clitoris down your lips and curving into the super sensitive vaginal opening, it provides soft, all-over tingling. It may not be for those looking for high-power, but it's a good idea for anyone looking for something gentle and sensual. The toy itself is made out of hard pink plastic, with a ridge-like bump over where the clitoris should be, and a TPR sleeve with thick ridges that fits over the insert-able area. Supposedly, this sleeve is meant for "extra comfort", but I actually found it a little more comfortable without the sleeve. For me it was easier to insert and carried vibrations a little bit better.
Personally, I dislike the plastic-y, sugary scent that always seems to waft from TPR and similar "flesh-like" materials. The hard plastic doesn't smell like anything overall, but the TPR's scent is so strong I always have to move it away from where ever I'm sitting.
When I first looked at the Lady Finger, I kept tilting my head side to side trying to figure out what the hell it was supposed to do. The curved "finger" was so odd to me that I couldn't imagine what it would be for. Luckily, the box had a diagram. Wasn't that nice of them? Unfortunately, it has a vague similarity to the diagrams you see on tampon boxes, which isn't sexy at all, but still, it's handy. The extending finger inserts into the vagina, with the main area reaching up towards the clitoris, with the bullet connected to the top.
I must say that the design seems to limit it's vibration's capabilities. Having the egg attached to the piece and not actually a part of it might be keeping the sensations from being as strong as they could be. Especially all the way down at the tip.
And, as a side note, this isn't particularly discreet. The over-sized bullet, strange curve, and connected controller are big, brightly colored, and would definitely be hard to explain; it's kind of obvious it's not a kid's toy, a medical necessity, or a special appliance for your back massager. No way to get out of this one if your friend stumbles onto it.
The Lady Finger works by pulsing vibrations from the egg bullet that is attached to the top of the "finger". The vibrations themselves aren't strong, but they are deep. It's sort of a subtle, deep thrumming that soothes and, for the right person, stimulates gently. Use it right and you're skin will feel tingly all over. Just don't use it for too long or you might go a little numb.
It isn't very loud, which is surprising for a hard plastic toy, and although it can be hard to hold right, it isn't uncomfortable.
One issue with the effectiveness of the shape is that it isn't really shaped right for easy, direct contact with the clitoris. Holding it is a little awkward, and the top of the finger doesn't really touch what you need unless you press it down quite a bit. Not a big problem, but it does take some adjusting to.
Cleaning for the Lady Finger by itself is super easy. Quick swipe over the plastic with a cleaning spray and wipe, or some soap and warm water, and you're good. The TPR sleeve over the curve, however, is pretty much the same but a little trickier. The ridges will probably need a little extra attention, just to make sure nothing gets caught there, and checking over to make sure there's no dust or anything wedging itself between the plastic and the sleeve is a good idea too.
Packaging for the Extended Lady Finger is about what I've come to expect from basic Doc Johnson products. A very simple plastic box that isn't ugly or tacky, but not exactly appealing either. There's definitely a lack of information, with only short vague descriptions of the product. It does have the nifty diagram, but that's about the only useful information included.
Over time I've come to get used to disappointment in Doc Johnson's toys. Some people give them rave reviews, but as someone who needs power and adores creative, unique, and swanky looks, I tend to be let down by the Doc. That's not to say I don't love having them, but somehow they rarely seem to fulfill my sexual and aesthetic needs. This one's like that. It's a neat idea, but with such low power and uneasy contact, it doesn't come close to rocking my world.
However, for someone looking for gently but deep vibrations to pulse into every part of the labia, this is for you.

I like the design, but a different name and better material would be nice.
Yeah the name was creepy but it can be better than it sounds.
The name creeps me out more than the design does.
