There is no odor to this toy. It is made of hard plastic colored in gold which has the texture of a gold wedding ring.
The Lady Finger is designed in the traditional sense of a vibrator; mainly cylindrical for insertion potential. It has a tapered tip which will make it easier for insertion in addition to being able to find and maintain clitoral contact. The switch is a rotating bezel that variably energizes the vibration.
The Lady Finger is a very quiet vibrator. It is much quieter than the Hitachi and even a friend's Lipstick vibrator yet it still has a decent amount of vibration. It will never compare the the Hitachi, but what will at this size. The control is on the end of the vibrator which is a bezel style control.
I did drop it in the tub for a about half an hour while it was running and it kept on going. The only issue was that some of the paint wore off as it was vibrating against the fiberglass of the tub.
There are no variations in the vibration patterns other than slow to fast.
Cleans easily for soap and water. Especially since it is waterproof you can just submerge it in the sink. I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher though. I do not believe it is dishwasher safe.
There was minimal packaging that came to me. It was in a shipping box with a plastic wrapping around it. There were no instructions.
There is a little concern that since the paint wore off while submerged in the tub that this material, if the vibrator is inserted, will lose paint internally. I don't think that is a very good thing.
This is a nice little vibrator. It has power, yet is very quiet. I had several of my friends try it and they all liked it which included having several climaxes.
