The first thing my wife said when I pulled the Monique Alexander Renegade out of its easily-opened clamshell package was, "It's so small." As someone with a reasonable amount of anal experience, she was right. This toy is fairly narrow and definitely geared toward the anal beginner. But don't write it off just yet.The first thing that caught my eye was the apparent construction of the toy. The Renegade is made of two pieces: a totally smooth, rubber sleeve with no visible seams, and a jelly shaft inside of the sleeve. The ribbed back end of the toy is open, exposing the jelly shaft. While I doubt you could safely remove the jelly from the rubber sleeve, it concerns me that this construction will make the toy somewhat harder to keep clean. And I'd say it totally rules out using the ribbed end for stimulation. It would be a cleaning nightmare.The Renegade we received is pink. The packaging calls the color 'pearlescent,' and sure enough, it does shimmer a bit in the light. The shaft is very flexible, but still firmly retains its shape.It didn't take long before my wife and I decided to take the Renegade for a test drive. After I got her pretty worked up, she climbed on top of me, and I lubed up the new toy. I easily slid the entire length of the shaft inside her. And just as soon as I took my hand off it, the toy popped right back out of her. Because of the relatively small difference between the shaft and the head, and the very smooth texture and shape, the Renegade can be removed just as simply as it is inserted. But I only let it get away from me the once.Since it seemed like this toy was meant for thrusting, that's how I used it. And let me assure you, my wife definitely wasn't complaining. The grippy rubber material and ribbed back end made for easy handling, and we soon found a rhythm that had her screaming through two orgasms in less than fifteen minutes. I was a little careful not to get too carried away, since the ribbed portion is no wider than the head of the probe and I didn't want to risk losing the toy. But I never really felt in danger of losing control.Because the Renegade is pretty narrow, I didn't feel it much when it was inside her. But she soon turned the tables on me. Unlike her, I'm definitely an anal rookie. But I felt no discomfort with the Renegade, going in or out. And with it fully inserted, I definitely felt stimulated.
