Big, big love - book discontinued - reviews

Overall, I was a tad disappointed in this book. It seemed to be geared towards super morbidly obese folk and those with lower self esteem who have to be reminded that it's okay to be overweight and still desire sex.

A thoughtful discussion of what it's like to be fat and how to live a happier life, this is a wonderful book for anyone of size or who would like to know more about being of size. Numerous fat issues are examined with an informative and nonjudgmental tone and helpful advice is offered. If it weren't for the lack of a bibliography, this would be rated higher.

It is very informative and inexpensive. I really love this book and I have put some of the information to good use already.

'Big, Big Love' by Hanne Blank is a new and informative look at sexuality and all it's many splendored complexities through the eyes of a plus-sized person. The book contains lots of useful information for both fat people and their fat-loving partners, and has a compassionate and educational approach which does not make the reader uncomfortable, but instead fosters greater acceptance and love for their body. I recommend this book for all plus-size folks and their partners.
