Summary:

The taper to the base could be narrower and the base could be wider.
Best use: The Pixie Curve butt plug is among one of the prettiest shapes I've seen for butt plugs with its flame-lick curve and ball tip. A comfortably soft gem that gives with just a little bit of squish and won't flop all over the place or lose its wonderful shape while in use.
My husband tried the Pixie Plug, having only previously tried the Joe Rock butt plug and various dildos. If he was considered to be a beginner to anal play before, he certainly has graduated to a more intermediate level now. This is a fairly medium sized toy still, but the wide bulbous end will require a bit of stretch.
The bottom is suction cupped, and the flare could have been just a little wider to make you feel truly safe, because as it does taper below the bulbous part the flare is only as wide as the bulb's widest point. This could possibly be an issue for some but as always you should be using care as it is when sticking things up your butt. That's how the pros do it.

This is our first PVC toy, and I'm happy to report that there are no smells, and that the texture is smooth in almost a way that Jelly tries for but can't quite grasp. It's sturdy with a little give, and because it is smooth it glides in easily with water or silicone lubricant.

The design as far as the insertable part of the plug goes is quite pleasing in both appearance and feel, but I still argue that the base could have been flared just a little bit more. However, I don't believe that this should cause very much concern or alarm.
The size and shape are a step up from a beginners conical shaped plug that you see used so often, and the awesome little tip pressed gently but firmly into my husband's prostate. It was comfortable to slip in, but when he clenched down on it during orgasm it did slip out. Perhaps a narrower taper might have prevented this.- Color:

Performance:
This toy enhanced the feeling of sex tremendously for my husband. He said he could feel absolutely everything and that somehow it all intensified the sensations. I was on top of him while he had the plug in, and I barely did any work at all because he was absolutely tingling and feeling it all over. This is probably due to the wide girth of the plug which gave him the pleasurable open anus feeling and the firm but delight pressure on his prostate.

PVC is pretty easy to take care of. Warm water and anti-bacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner will do just fine. It is very easy to care for because it is one of the more durable materials that sex toys are made from today.

Packaging:
The package popped right open, no staples or glue or endless struggles. However, all over the package there are warnings that this product is for external use only and that it is only a novelty. That kind of makes me wonder. But we ignored the box and shoved it up there anyway.

I tried Pixie the same night I tried my first every booty plug. He had a vibrator; she does not. When I pulled out my favorite vibrator and tried to get busy, the other plug popped right out.
