The L'amour probe is one of my favorite toys so far, and a great beginner's anal toy. I plan on expanding my anal collection but this will most definitely stay at the top of my list.

Best use: I have only used this toy for anal play during sex, but... WOW! I loved how easy it was to handle and use for both me and my significant other. The hook on the end makes it very easy to manipulate as well as making it safe for anal play. My boyfriend loved using it on me which is a big plus.

Material / Texture:
This probe is made of silicone which was great; clean up and storage are a breeze! The firmness of it makes it extremely easy to use and there's absolutely no smell to it, right from the unpackaging. The texture is very smooth, and while I expected a seam or two, there is none. The texture never added to the experiences, but definitely never detracted from them. An overall perfectly designed probe!

Design / Shape / Size:
The fact that it had gradual beads was awesome. It was so easy to ease this in slowly while getting accustomed to it. The hook on the end makes it simple to pull out and leaves no worries about "losing track" of it, which would be difficult since it measures in at 6". However, I wish it had a looped end as I'm afraid the hook would be hard to pull with slippery hands. Although slightly large for me, I found it the perfect length as it provides more room for more beads!

Performance:
The best part about this toy was the design and the material. The beads were really wonderful, especially the way they were graduated along the probe. The silicone made it easy to clean and take care of so it's ready to be used again as soon as you need it!

Care and Maintenance:
As I said before, the probe is made of hard silicone which can be washed with water and anti-bacterial soap. Or, if you're really worried, it can be boiled in hot water for a couple minutes. However, you only want to use water-based lube as silicone-based lube can break the material down. I kept it stored in the original packaging, as it was molded to the toy, but it doesn't pick up much dust/lint so storing shouldn't be a problem.

I love probes, and thought I would love this too, but at best it's okay. I can't insert the last bead without feeling pain, but that aside, the sensation is alright. I wouldn't buy it again.
