L'Amour premium silicone beaded probe - probe discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

I don’t think there is any doubt that I am a fan of ass play; I have been quite open about that here. However, I don’t know if I have made it clear that Mrs. Peg enjoys a little ass play as well. While I am a fan of things with a little girth to them that are being thrust into me, Mrs. Peg prefers to things that are a little smaller and that don’t move around too much. In that way, the L’Amour Beaded Probe by California Exotic Novelties is right up her, *ahem*, alley.

The L’Amour Beaded Probe is a soft, pliable anal toy made from pure high-quality silicone, which is the perfect material for anal play. The high-quality silicone is non-porous so it can be easily cleaned and even sterilized. You need only to soak in some bleach solution (1:10 ratio bleach to water), boil it, or you can even wash it in your dishwasher. The Beaded Probe is also waterproof so it can stand up to anything but silicone lube. The silicone is firm enough to be easily inserted, yet it is flexible enough to conform to your insides and flex with your body. Silicone is also very responsive to temperature. Mrs. Peg is a fan of warm toys and this toy simply needs to be run under hot water for a little while before playtime to bring it up to a nice temperature. However, if you are your partner prefer to cool it down, you can also place this in the freezer for a while. It gets cool but still remains flexible enough for enjoyable play.

This toy is on the small side by my standards. It has five connected beads which graduate in size from 19/32 of inch to 1 ¼ inches in diameter. This makes it suitable for newbies to anal play as well as those with more experience who either don’t want, or require, a larger toy. This toy has a central stem with the beads molded to it in such a way that they are slightly offset which gives the toy a bit of a curve. The stem is about ½ inch in diameter. The anal probe is nicely designed and well-made. There is, however, a seam which runs along the length of toy. It was barely noticeable on ours and did not affect the comfort of this toy in the least. While you may be inclined to insert all of the beads, the largest serves best as a stop to keep the probe from being inserted too far. The fact is, once you get past that last bead there isn’t much to keep the toy from slipping completely inside of you or your partner. There is a small handle, but that is a little hard to hold onto if your hands have lube on them.

The L’Amour Beaded Probe is about 6 ¾ inches long from tip of the first bead to the end of the little handle. We would say that only the first four inches of this toy are insertable. Of course if you choose to fully insert the probe, it has 5 ¼ insertable inches. Mrs. Peg was very happy with only using the first four inches. It provided her with some fullness and some presence without being overwhelming or pushing past the end of her rectum. Keeping it comfortable is the best way to ensure that she is having fun and she will be willing for more anal play in the future.

Toys which are beaded like the L’Amour Anal Probe feel just as good going in as they do being removed. I suggest waiting until your partner is in the throes of orgasm to slowly pull the probe out. Having that extra bit of sensation during an orgasm drives Mrs. Peg crazy which is always a very very good thing.
