Going over the Rainbow
The Rainbow G offers a variety of sensations and is pretty to look at. It's not too big or intimidating, and the nubs are noticeable but not intrusive. The curve of the toy may be a bit drastic for some, as it was for me, but overall the toy worked well and offered me a great introduction into textured glass toys. Read more

Best use:

The Rainbow G dildo by SSA Glass would make a great toy for beginners and advanced users alike. This glass dildo can be used in many ways. The weight of the glass feels nice when used externally against the clitoris and labia. It does have a small flared base so could possibly be used anally, though the length might make that a bit difficult for some. And of course it also works well as a G-spot dildo. Glass toys also work great for temperature play. Caution is needed though to not get it too hot or cold for the skin to handle. Simply running it under cold or hot water for a short period of time should be all that is needed.

Since it is made of tempered glass care needs to be taken when thrusting this toy so as not to hurt your cervix. Also always check over glass toys carefully before use, for any possible nicks or cracks.

    This dildo is made of tempered glass, which is non-porous, phthalates free and hypo-allergenic. Tempered glass is very safe and difficult to break, but care should still be taken not to drop it. The glass itself is extremely smooth and hard. But this dildo does have some texture by way of several rows of colorful nubs. There are two rows of red nubs surrounding the top shaft just below the head, a single row of yellow nubs down each side of the shaft, ending with a double row of blue nubs just above the base. The red and yellow nubs can be felt mildly, but the blue ones are too far down to serve any purpose other than aid in holding onto the dildo.

    The Rainbow G dildo is 7 3/4 inches long with approximately 7 of those inches being insertable. The circumference of the head of the shaft is 4 1/4 inches, going down to a 3 1/4 circumference for the shaft. This isn't a large toy in terms of girth so it should be suitable for just about anyone. Though since it is glass it will feel a bit bigger than softer toys with the same measurements. The head has a bulb shape to it and it a deep red color at the tip. The shaft is in a slight S shape, which works quite nicely for G-spotting. But not only that, it actually feels quite interesting and stimulating to move it around at different angles, or even in a circular motion.

  • Performance:

    I found this glass dildo worked quite nicely for its intended purposes. I really liked that I could move it around at different angles for different types of sensations. I kind of liked the nubs, but they weren't really over the top noticeable. I did not try it anally, but technically it should work well for that too.

    Care for the Rainbow G is quite easy. It can be washed with warm soap and water. It can also be sanitized by using a 10% bleach solution, putting in the top shelf of the dishwasher, or boiling it for 3 to 5 minutes.

    This also comes with a very nice lightly padded drawstring bag for safe storage.

    Glass works wonderfully with any type of lubricant you want to use. But since glass is quite slippery very little lube is needed.

    Overall, I think this is a very nice glass dildo and I do like it. I did think it was going to have more of the nubs than it actually does though. But that was my mistake in not looking at the pictures carefully enough. It is well made and should last me forever, so long as I take good care of it.
