The glass that Casper is made from is actually borosilicate glass. The borosilicate glass has boron oxide and silica added in the production so that the density is affected. With the changes in density, the borosilicate glass will resist breakage and, if it does break, it will break into large pieces and not splinter. This chemical composition also makes the glass resistant to thermal shock, so it can go into extreme temperature changes without breaking. This is the same type of glass that is known as Pyrex, the stuff your cookware is made from.
Be sure to inspect your glass before you use it. Make sure that there aren’t any scratches or chips, as they can cause micro tissue damage. The glass is a food safe, hypoallergenic, non porous, latex- and phthalates- free material It has an Eden safety scale rating of 10. It is safe to use between partners and between anal and vaginal use, just be sure to properly sterilize the toy in between uses.
Casper looks just like a real penis; it has a pronounced head with a urethral slit, and the lip under the head of the penis is pronounced and can be felt when I use it vaginally. I can also feel the veining that is raised and pronounced. The textures add to the enjoyment with the use of Casper.
Casper’s textures are raised approximately 1/8th of an inch off of the main area of the shaft. The shaft has a diameter of 1 1/4 inches, with the weight being 1 pound. Casper has some weight to it, letting you know that it is there. The flared base is 1/2 inch around the shaft of the toy, and the base is approximately 1/2 inch thick. The bottom of the base is completely smooth, and the toy stands up without any issues. There may be some variations in the measurements between toys since the glass toys are hand made. Casper is completely clear and has no colors. To me the clear glass looks simple but elegant.
I really like Casper, I haven’t had a realistic looking glass piece before, but I really enjoy my textures in combination with glass. Casper delivers orgasms. Its textures, mixed with the slight curve, are able to hit my g spot and cause me to shudder. I also like to hit my glass pieces with a strong clitoral vibe to make them rumble, and Casper rumbles well.
Its weight really adds to the experience of having it thrusting gently in and out.
Casper is easily cleaned with antibacterial soaps and water, toy sprays, or Eden wipes. You can place glass toys in the dishwasher or boil them. You can also clean them with a bleach solution. Be sure to rinse off any cleaning solutions before use. You can use any types of lube with Casper: oils, silicone, hybrids, or water based. Be careful with storage so that Casper doesn’t get chipped or scratched. I store my Casper in the pouch that it comes in. You can also purchase after market padded storage bags.
Casper comes from Eden in a burgundy velvety pouch, wrapped in bubble wrap.
