The Bsoft is made of ABS plastic and silicone and it has no smell or taste. The majority of the toy is a dark, smoky grey with a smooth feel. A fuschia band runs around the toy and separates the top from the bottom. This band isn’t entirely flush with the top and bottom of the Bsoft and a distinct ridge can be felt when running your finger over the band. This ridge isn’t noticeable during use.

The toy is firm and inflexible with the exception of the control buttons.

The Bsoft has a simple, pleasing design. It looks somewhat like a halved avocado from the top and is concave, while the bottom somewhat resembles the hull of a boat. This contouring allows sufficient pressure on the clit while holding and maneuvering the Bsoft with your hand. It can also be held with the bottom contours allowing finger placement on each side, with the thumb resting on the button. This allows a more diffused sensation over the clitoris and surrounding area.

At about 4 3/4" long and 2 1/4" wide, it is easy to hold during use. It’s only about 1 1/4" thick at its widest point. It’s easy to store both the toy and the charger in the provided bag and hide them in a drawer or cabinet. The Bsoft doesn’t have a locking feature, so care should be used when traveling so the buttons aren’t jostled and the toy doesn’t turn on in your luggage if it’s charged.

The Bsoft is rechargeable, and the Li-Polymer battery is recharged by lifting the silicone flap on the right side of the toy and plugging the DC adapter into the socket. The battery takes 2 1/2 hours to charge, which will provide the Bsoft with about 2 hours of power. It has a maximum standby time of 60 days. The battery can be overcharged, so the Bsoft should never be charged more than 24 hours.

The Bsoft is controlled by 2 buttons on its top. The buttons are placed under a single pad with one at each end and the Bswish logo between them. The bottom button turns the Bsoft on and off and is labeled with the standard power logo. The top button controls the functions and is labeled with two arrows around a triangle. When on, both symbols and a ring around them are backlit with a blue LED light. This light will change and flash or glow steady depending on the function the Bsoft is on.

After pressing the power button, the top button can be pressed to start and change between the patterns. The patterns are:
- low and steady
- medium and steady
- high and steady
- shaky reverberation from low to high, with a pause on high
- medium pulses
- short, fast pulses
- 2 short pulses and 1 long pulse

The vibrations are high and buzzy and are moderately strong in intensity. They are strongest in the tip, but can be felt well throughout the body of the toy. The vibrations are also fairly noisy, so the Bsoft should be used with some background music on if you’re worried about anyone hearing it in use.

The Bsoft should be cleaned both before and after use with antibacterial soap and water (harsh cleansers or those containing alcohol, petrol, or acetone should never be used). It can be dried with a soft cloth. If cleaning the Bsoft under running water, care should be taken to make sure the socket plug is firmly closed over the hole so water doesn’t get into this area. If this should occur, the water should be blown gently out of the socket and the socket allowed to completely dry before attaching to the DC adapter.

Water based lubricants are safe to use with the Bsoft. Massage oil or hand cream should never be used with this toy.

The Bsoft comes in a black box with a magenta and white label and white text. A picture of the toy is on the side, and some information about the product is on the side and back.

Inside the box is the Bsoft, the DC adapter, an unpadded black drawstring pouch and an instruction booklet. The booklet is for all Binformed massagers and has instructions in 6 languages. While the Bsoft could be stored in the box, it takes up less room and is just as easy to store it in the provided pouch.

I liked the Bsoft as a warm-up toy. The shape made it easy to hold, and I liked the hardness of the material so I could get the pressure I wanted.

I found it to work best using primarily the tip and its underside for stimulation. When I used this with my husband, it was tricky but not unmanageable in missionary, and worked well in other positions without getting in the way.

The vibrations on the Bsoft are moderate at best, and with this level of vibration I’d prefer them to be more throbby than intensely buzzy. They felt pretty good and I liked the area they covered, but they weren’t strong enough to get me to orgasm on their own as a starter - la petite mort came much too slowly and I had to switch to something else. The Bsoft worked much better as a warm-up toy for teasing, and I found that it also worked well if I'd had several orgasms already - then I didn't need nearly as much stimulation to go again and I was much more sensitive to its level of intensity.
