Nomi Tang's Getaway Wild is made from a luxuriously soft and smooth, raspberry colored, silicone material. It does slightly pick up lint, but one wouldn't necessarily consider this a "lint magnet". Silicone is a wonderful non porous and hypoallergenic material. Overall silicone does not have a smell, though at first the Getaway Wild does pack a serious odorous punch! This seems to most likely be from packaging though, and once the Getaway is washed and allowed to breath the smell does completely go away. Keep in mind though, that if you store your Getaway in the included box the smell will reappear, though not as severely.

While the Getaway is made from silicone there appears to be a solid shaft underneath the silicone and therefore this is an extremely rigid toy. There is a little more cushioning at the head, which allows for more comfort, but it is not flexible at all.

The Getaway Wild is an extremely unique vibrator. It's very futuristic, this is something you'd imagine people using in a kinky sci-fi movie set in the future. It has a curved shaft with the G-Spot angled head at the top. This G-Spot head is great, but some might find that it slightly misses the mark. Depending on your anatomy you might end up wishing there was just a little more curve to the shaft and/or a little more angle in the head. It's also possible that depending on your anatomy and sensitivities you might find the curved, flat head uncomfortable. It has the possibility of catching on the pubic bone. That being said, if the curves of your body and the position of your G-Spot match the Getaway Wild you'll be in for some serious G-Spotting fun.

The Getaway Wild is a long vibrator, but it's also pretty thin. Since you don't need to insert it all the way, the Getaway is suitable for those who don't need or want a larger vibrator. If length is what you look for in a vibrator though, the Getaway certainly has you covered. With 6 inches of insertable length the Getaway can reach not only the G-Spot but the A-Spot on most as well.

Both the handle and the shaft are extremely ergonomic and work with your body. This is where the Nomi Tang Getaway really gets interesting. The Getaway doesn't work like most other vibrators. There aren't + and - buttons to control the vibrations. No, the Getaway Wild functions on a touch slider. Once you press the power button on you can then slide the slider down away from you for more vibrations, or up towards you to lessen the vibrations. When first turned on it is on a strong setting, and you can then adjust down if needed. The controls are very easy to use, though they can be a bit confusing. The vibrations are hard to distinguish between since they are so quiet, and without an actual click it can be hard to know if the speed has changed. You can tap the Nomi Tang logo on the slider to switch into the vibration pattern mode. In this mode the changing of patterns works the same as the changing of vibration strength. You just slide down or up depending on which you want. Getting back to the steady vibrations are easy, just press the Nomi Tang logo once again.

Once you know what setting you want you can press the bottom of the slider and this will lock the slider so that it does not accidentally get switched during use. Be careful though, it only takes holding that lower spot again for a few seconds to unlock. So, you want to be sure not to hold onto the Getaway from there.

There is a light to indicate which you're on. It glows steady when on steady vibrations, and pulsates when on the patterns. When you lock the slider it will turn red.

The vibrations are average, not exactly powerful, but not weak either. They are nice and deep though, which can sometimes make up for a lack of oomph. The Getaway is also virtually silent, so what you lack in power you make up in discretion. The vibrator runs on 2AA batteries, and these batteries have their own little plastic casing.

The Nomi Tang is waterproof, so you can bring it in for some shower or tub time fun. It's water proof up to 3 feet, so that's quite a lot. When submerged in water the control panel will automatically lock, so if you need to change the settings you'll need to first dry it off. Be careful not to twist the base, as this will open the battery compartment. Also, make sure to dry off the Getaway completely before opening this case so that water does not get in. There is a slight crack between the shaft and the battery cap and it is possible for drops of water to get in there. They won't get into the motor itself, so it's just important to dry the toy thoroughly before opening the cap.

The Getaway Wild can be cleaned with soap and water or with a toy cleaner. You can sanitize with a 10% bleach solution if desired. The Getaway not only comes with a very nice storage bag which is lined and made from a wonderful satiny material, but it also comes with a hinged white box lined with satin. Whichever method you decide on for storing your Getaway, you can be certain that it's being stored in class.

To ensure nothing happens to the beautiful silicone of the Getaway Wild, be sure to only use water based lubricants.

The Getaway Wild comes in a gorgeous white box that has the Nomi Tang logo covering it. A wine colored logo in the center, and then silver logos throughout the rest of the box. This box is covered by a cardboard sleeve that shows the Getaway Wild and some information regarding the product. If you're considering the Getaway Wild as a gift, this outer sleeve can be removed for a more elegant and discreet display.

Inside is a booklet that does a basic run down of the toy. Since the touch slider controls are so unique, it would have been helpful for a little more in depth break down, though you do get the basic idea from this booklet.

The Getaway Wild is a beautiful toy, but it's not quite powerful enough for me. It was hard to distinguish between the different levels since they were all very mellow. I also didn't find that the G-Spot angled head was angled quite enough for me. I was however pleasantly surprised that the head did not bump against my pubic bone while using the Getaway Wild. This might be due to the fact that it functions better with a rocking motion, rather than a thrusting motion.

I love the silence of the Getaway though. Because it is one of the most quiet insertable vibes I have, I find myself going back to the Getaway time and time again even though I don't get extreme G-Spot stimulation from it. I often don't require intense vibrations internally anyway, as long as I am not looking for G-Spot orgasms. Something else worth mentioning, is that while I don't feel extreme sensations from the Getaway Wild, I can tell you that this vibrator revs up my natural lubrication like no other. I find myself getting incredibly lubricated, and it's not from the lube I'm using. It's actually from me, and because of this I find the Getaway Wild to be an outstanding warm up toy.
