The Insignia Tiani is presented by LELO (maker) and EdenFantasys

The Tiani is made of body-safe silicone with a glossy, velvety smooth silicone finish. Being that the material is so smooth and slick, it adds extra stimulation during internal penetration, even more so when water-based lubricant is added.

The design of the Tiani is U-shaped to a 70 to 90 degree angle, which makes for smooth and easy insertion. The bend of the Tiani allows for it to conform to the female anatomy, touching the G-spot and the clitoris. The size of the Tiani is very small weighing at only 31g, where as the remote control weighs at 30g. The size of both the Tiani and the wireless remote control allows for easy travel and transportation. It is very discreet in its look and design and easy to hide.

Here's a quick overview of how to set up the Insignia Tiani:

1. Insert 2AAA batteries in the controller. To open the disc-like controller, you have to use the plastic key that's included in the package to open the shiny silver face of controller to expose the battery compartment. With the plastic key, insert it into the slot of the cover, do a 1/4 twist counterclockwise, and remove it from the controller. After batteries are inserted put the cover back on and use the key to do the same counterclockwise motion. Batteries are included in the package as well.

2. Charge your Insignia by unscrewing the base of the toy and insert the DC plug (included in the package) into the DC port. When the main plug is inserted into the wall socket, the LED light will pulse to indicate that it is charging. It takes about 2 hrs to charge completely.

3. Once the Insignia is charged, establish the wireless connection. Press the (+) button on the controller, and then press the wireless button (Turn On/Seek button) on the Insignia. It takes about 10 seconds for the Insignia to detect the controller. Once it does, then you can start exploring the SenseMotion technology. Or, if you choose, use the controller alone to explore the many vibrations that the toy has without using the wireless SenseMotion technology. By tilting the controller at an angle, it can intensify the vibration by 100%. You can create your own vibration power in any way you choose or any way your partner chooses.

The function and performance of the Tiani are indeed unique: it's wireless, and SenseMotion technology is used to create a more unique and fascinating G-spot/clitoral vibrator experience. However, its most positive attribute is also its most negative. Unfortunately, the SenseMotion technology is not perfect. The wireless controller can detect the wireless connection in the Tiani at only less than 5 ft. You can only feel the vibration at its most powerful when the controller is up close to the Tiani. If your legs are closed, the wireless connection is lost completely. Sometimes the wireless connection is lost completely even after 10 seconds, but then starts back up again. The vibrations are strong and powerful, and the sound of the vibration is very quiet and soft. Unfortunately, the Tiani, although wonderful, aesthetically appealing, and innovative, does not succeed 100% in what it is trying to do.

Only use water-based lubricant for the Insignia. A small package of LELO's personal lubricant is included in the package. Avoid using silicone lubricants because they will deteriorate the product. Never use massage oil or hand creams with this product. Always clean the Insignia before and after each use. You can wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, rinse with clean hot water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel. Avoid getting water into the DC socket. Avoid leaving the Insignia in direct sunlight and never expose it to extreme heat. The best way to store the Insignia is in a dust-free place and keep it away from toys of other materials.

The packaging is just as aesthetically appealing as the toy itself. It comes in a sophisticated black box with a cushion-y section where the controller and Tiani is placed, including a very cute pin with the LELO logo, in case you want to show off that you not only own a Tiani but also want to advertise it so others can buy it. In another corner of the box there includes the charger, the plastic key, a pack of AAA batteries, a silken pouch, a packet of lubricant, a DO/NOT DO sheet, and an instruction manual of how to use the Tiani. This packaging is great because you have everything that you'll need for this toy, as well as providing a nice storage box to keep these beauties safe, clean, and protected. It's all done in a very organized and neat manner, which makes this toy great for gift-giving, be it a gift for yourself or a gift for your partner.

I hate to say that for all its great potential, I didn't find the Tiani as great and mind blowing as I was hoping and expecting it to be. I loved the whole idea of the SenseMotion/Wireless technology. I thought of so many situations and scenarios where I can try this baby, not just in my bedroom but in public as well. Unfortunately, the SenseMotion technology is very fickle: it's not by any means a failure but it doesn't really deliver as well as one would hope. The major flaws: the sometimes flaky connection, its delayed response at starting the vibration even when the controller is up close to the vibrator, and how the wireless connection ONLY works if the vibrator is exposed in front of the controller (so therefore, you can't close your legs or move around too much otherwise you lose the vibration and the wireless connection). Not that I was expecting the technology to be perfect, but I expected it to be better, especially for the price that is being paid to own this product.
