MATERIAL ~ ODOR:

The Icicles No.16 is a stunning glass, vibrating rabbit which is beautifully hand-blown for Pipedream in China. With Pyrex glass being hypo-allergenic, food grade, non-porous, phthalates and latex free, it really is safe for anyone to use. It earns a safety rating of 10. The bullet and controller are created from plastic which is another great body safe product. There was absolutely no odor at all.



COLORING ~ TEXTURE:

Being glass, this rabbit is clear with pink highlights down the shaft and clit stimulator area. Both the controller and bullet are see through which I find fascinating when they light up a pink glow.

Icicles No.16 has pink delicious swirls that twist down the shaft between the G-spot bulge and the clitoral stimulator. Other than these swirls, the glass is totally silky smooth. The bullet and controller are created from smooth plastic. Naturally, being glass, there's no flexibility to it at all – thank goodness for the curved shaft.

SHAPE:

Unlike a lot of glass toys, this one has a beautiful curve to the shaft to make it more comfortable in your anatomy – considering there's no give to glass. The very tip features a reasonable size bulge to thrust against your G-spot while the forked clit stimulator works its magic externally. Inside the clit stimulator is a hole where the powerful bullet sits. It's a tight fit so there is no rattling causing noise. At the end of the handle is a hole that allows two fingers or a thumb to be placed into for extra grip. This is very handy if you're fingers happen to be covered in lube.

There is 3 ½” insertable shaft length with a circumference of just over 3” on the spiral work and a little over 4” circumference for the g-spot bulb. Being glass, this rabbit (without the bullet) is a good solid weight of 9.1oz - unlike what the information page says.

CONTROLS:

There are 10 (yeah that's TEN – no mistake) wonderful patterns to experience with this vibrator. The controller features one long button. One end has On/Off and the other is Mode. I love toys that have the seperate on/off button in case of interruptions. Pressing the On/Off end starts the bullet off on a slow steady vibration. The first two presses of the Mode will take you through medium and fast constant vibration levels before moving through the different patterns below.

6. Gradual increase in steady vibration
7. Slow long pulses which gain in intensity
8. Slow drawn out pulses followed by many medium pulses

There's a LED on the controller which lights up when the on/off button is pressed. Both this and the bullet light emits a steady glow until you reach the pattern vibration levels, in which they then flash to the beats – so to speak. The down side is that the cable is only 22” which doesn't give you a lot to play with. That being said, I didn't have too much trouble.



NOISE ~ POWER:

I know myself and a couple of other people were concerned about the noise with a plastic bullet being inserted into glass. Fear not – this toy surprised me with being very quiet. My favorite bullet on its own is far more noisy and yet still not loud enough to be heard through a closed door. You can only just hear this one from under a light summer blanket. I'm very impressed.

It requires 3 X AAA batteries which actually produce a very powerful bullet. I'm not sure exactly why they would go with the AAA's over 2 AA's but it works for me. As long as the batteries are easy to come by and powerful enough, I'm happy. The vibrations are pretty much as strong in the G-spot bulge as they are in the clit area of the glass. I'm giving this one 3 Vrooms for the overall power, as the glass does disfuse it slightly. If I was rating the bullet alone, I'd give it 4 Vrooms.

The bullet does tend to get quite warm after about 5 minutes of using it continuously.

CLEANING:

Unfortunately, the complete toy isn't waterproof due to a reasonable gap where the battery cover meets the rest of the controller body. But Pipedream did make the actual bullet part water tight at the end. I guess they figured that was the main part so that it makes cleaning up easy.

For cleaning, simply remove the bullet so the rabbit can be placed in the dishwasher or boiled for sterilizing. Both the bullet and the rabbit can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap, toy cleaner or wipes. If you happen to get lube over the controller, simply wipe it over with a damp cloth or wipe.

PACKAGING ~ STORAGE:

Icicles No.16 is presented in a magnetic front flap box – not discreet at all but classy all the same. Open the flap and you're greeted with a brief description of the vibrating glass rabbit and the other side features a cut out figure replaced with clear plastic so you can admire your new toy. Opening the top end and carefully pulling out the contents will reveal the vibrator snuggled into dense foam – gleaming in all her glory. Turn the foam over and the controller is nestled into the back.

Unfortunately there is no pouch for storage, so I modified mine so the front opens to make it easier and quicker to get to my toy!

MY EXPERIENCE:

The bullet controller is the cheapest part about this toy with it being made from pink iridescent, see-through plastic. You'll forget all about the cheap feeling of the controller when you cycle through to find 10 wonderfully created patterns. I personally love seeing all the mechanical bits inside. Some may say small things amuse small minds. But small minds take notice!

At first I thought the rabbit would be best rocked to hit both spots perfectly. Unfortunately this caused the two points on the clit stimulator to stab above my clitoris and resulted in a reasonable amount of pain. It may seem strange but short thrusting actually produced far better results for me – rubbing past my G-spot and brushing my clit the way I needed it to.
