Too many rights still make a wrong

As innovative as the idea of having a glass rabbit sounds, it wasn't for me. I'd rather pay for a more expensive, flexible rabbit toy than pay for this. I love glass...SO much. And this just kept falling short of my desires.

Use

Icicles No. 16 is a glass "Rabbit" style toy, consisting of glass with a small hole in which to insert a vibrator bullet (included). Meant for vaginal and clitoral dual stimulation use, it could work with someone's anatomy...but not mine.

The idea is great; a glass toy that gives other rabbit vibrators a run for their money. The actual product? Not so great. Since it is glass, there is no flexibility or ability for this to adapt to ones' body. You're left hoping that maybe the clit stimulator will effectively reach your clit, while simultaneously having a rigid piece of glass maybe hitting your G-spot.

Because of the shape, this could be used for anal play, but something tells me that the clit stimulator part wouldn't be very comfortable if the other part was inserted into your bum. The "ears" on the clit part are fairly pointed, and rubbing against other areas may not be a pleasing sensation.

I've not attempted using this toy with a partner, but given the size, I'm not sure it would be doable anyway. Not that it is bulky, but it is a rabbit/dual stimulator, which gives little room for someone to go down on you during use and thrusting it repeatedly would make the clit part useless.

Since the No. 16 is glass, you can use it for temperature play! Whether you prefer hot or cold or room temperature, glass is always great for maintaing the temperature you desire.

Material / Texture

The Icicles No. 16 is made out of Borosilicate Glass, which is rated a 10 on the EF safety scale. The vibrator that is included is a hard plastic.

The head of the toy is smooth, and there are very slightly raised swirls that run along the shaft of insertable part of the toy, which had a hint of extra stimulation without intimidating beginners. The clit stimulator has a small hole for the vibe, plus two "ears".

Glass does not have a scent or taste, and is very smooth for penetration.

Be careful thrusting this toy as glass is rigid and can bruise you if you thrust too hard. The pointed "ears" on the clitoral stimulator area may also poke you uncomfortably as they are a bit pointy.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

The Icicles No.16 is a "Rabbit" style toy, meaning dual stimulation. As you can see in this photo, the head bends slightly to one side for G-spot stimulation, while the pink "ears" have a hole for the vibrator to go into.

It also has a ring at the bottom which makes it a bit easier to hold on to.

This toy is about 7" long, though only 3.75" is insertable.

The bullet vibrator lights up at the end by the cord, which provides a pretty illuminating effect with the glass.

I wouldn't say this toy is particularly intimidating. The insertable size is I think a bit smaller than average length wise, and once you get past the head, the shaft is pretty narrow. It is glass though, so it is rigid, which intimidates some.

Although this toy isn't realistic, I don't think it is discreet either. If you're traveling with it (or any glass), make sure to wrap it up securely.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Icicles No. 16 does not have controls directly on the glass piece--rather it is located on the plastic wired bullet style vibrator. The wire from the bullet to the controller is approximately 2 feet long and can be disconnected from the controller. The bullet inserts into the hole located below the "ears" on the clitoral stimulator, pictured below:

Because of how the vibrator goes into the rabbit, the vibrations are mainly concentrated in the "ears" section. The plastic on glass vibrations also make this toy very loud. Being under sheets help, but it is still loud enough to hear and attract attention. Try under a heavy blanket and with the door closed, roommates or family may not hear. I find the sound very distracting.

The control has an "on/off" button, as well as a button to control the 10 modes of vibration. The first 3 modes are steady vibrations: Light, medium and strong(ish). After cycling through the first three, you'll arrive at the non-steady modes: Rapid pulses, rapid pulses followed by a longer pulse, a gradual increase in steady vibration, longer pulses that gain intensity, slow drawn out pulses followed by a series of medium pulses, longer steady vibration followed by short rapid pulses, and longer pulsations followed by many rapid pulses.

The vibrator requires 3 AAA batteries, which should be removed when not in use.

I found the toy to be lacking in strength as a vibrator. I much preferred it as a glass dildo, without the vibrator attached.
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

The glass piece is very easily cared for: soap and water, boiling, bleach mixture, or toy cleaner will clean this right up! The plastic cannot be boiled, but a light bleach mixture or toy cleaner will do the trick.

Storage isn't too difficult, although it did not come with a bag or anything. I keep mine wrapped up in an older hand towel. Remember to remove the batteries from the vibrator when storing so they do not damage it!

Because of it being made of glass, it is also compatible with any type of lube. It's very smooth though, so if you get wet easily, you may not need any lube.
    • Easy to clean

Experience

I've had this toy for about a year. It was a gift from a fan, and frankly I am very glad I didn't pay for it. I found that it didn't work with my anatomy. If it was comfortably inserted, it wasn't hitting my clit. If it was hitting my clit, it wasn't comfortable inside.

I keep trying it, and it keeps not getting me where I want to be. I've not been able to reach orgasm at all using it, and I tend to reach that pretty easily. I find the vibrations very distracting, which doesn't help.

You did great with this review. You gave great detail along with appropriate pictures. Sorry it didn't work with your anatomy. Rabbits are so hard to accomodate most.
