The Violet is presented by Vibratex (maker) and EdenFantasys

The Violet is made of body safe silicone and has a hard plastic base. Silicone is phthalates free, latex free, hypoallergenic, and non-porous. The silicone is smooth with very little drag. The silicone is like a matte silicone. It is squishy, but has a firm feeling to it. It will not bend on the shaft unless the motor is on and then it kind of rotates. The clitoral shaft is in the shape of a butterfly, complete with the antennae. The underside of the butterfly has soft slits of silicone and wings made of silicone as well. The antennae give this clitoral shaft two flicky tails that can conform to either side of the clitoris.



It will still pick up lint and hair so be sure to clean before and after use. The hard plastic base is white with flush soft plastic buttons. This toy had no smell or taste out of the package.

The shaft has a bulbous looking end that makes insertion easy. The bulbous end also helps to hit that g-spot once inserted and the motor rotates it. The toy is 8 3/4" from top to bottom. Only about 4" can be inserted. The clitoral shaft is about 2.5". The clitoral shaft can be bent to meet your needs but it also gives good pressure.


This size is perfect for beginners or those that don't want an overly large toy to play with. It didn't give me that overly full feeling. The size of the shaft left some "wiggle" room for the shaft to rotate around and hit my g-spot. The package insert came with a bit of a warning about clamping kegel muscles not being good, (Clamping kegel muscles down on this toy will prevent the shaft from being able to rotate and could break the motor, so that's good to know).
The Violet did not come with any kind of storage compartment. It could be stored back in the box for travel, if you don't mind the fact that it is clear.

The Violet takes 4 AAA batteries for power. The battery compartment comes out and can be kept separate for storage. This is a good thing since this toy is a bit of a battery guzzler. The controls on this toy were really hard to see. They are the same white color of the base and small.


What you can't see in this picture you will have a hard time distinguishing with the toy in your hand as well. The bottom buttons turn both the motors off. The left side controls the clitoral shaft. The middle button turns the clitoral shaft on and goes through the speeds. The top button controls the patterns. It has 4 different speeds of vibration, and 5 different patterns. This toy is buzzy in its vibrations. The Violet has a range of light colors to go with the speeds, and then it flickers with the patterns.

The ranges are:
green: low
yellow: low/med
orange: med
red: high

The shaft is controlled by the buttons on the right. The middle button controls the speed of rotation. There are 4 speeds and it has a light for each one as well. The light is green for the speeds and gets a bit darker with each level increase. The top button controls the functions. There are four functions which basically make the toy stop rotating and pause for a few second. The top button has 4 levels of patterns as well and alternates red or green lights with each function.

This toy is a bit loud but quieter than most rabbits I own. It will be heard through covers but not through a closed door under covers.

The Violet is only splash-proof, not waterproof. I clean this toy by running just the shaft under water or wiping it down with an Eden Toy Wipe. Silicone is very easy to care for with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. It is non-porous so it will not harbor bacteria. You will need to be extra careful cleaning the butterfly part of this toy. it has a few nooks that can hold water, lube or other stuff.

The Violet came packaged in a clear box. The box is not discreet at all. The box has a small bit of paper along the bottom running along the inside. The insert has care instructions written on the inside and features about the toy on the outside. This box would make a nice gift and can be used for storage.

I was so excited to see a rabbit made of silicone I had to get this toy! I have been very satisfied by every item I have from Vibratex and this toy is no exception. The feeling and color of this toy are so attractive I can hardly stop touching it. I liked the antennae which provided a flicky sensation on either side of my clitoris. I also liked the fact that it gave my clitoris firm pressure when I moved it up to the body of the butterfly. This toy gave me options with the clitoral attachment that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the vibrations are buzzy instead of rumbly. I am a bit spoiled by rumbly vibrations and this toy was not enough to give me the rumble I need for clitoral orgasm.
