This is an excellent glass plug for the average anal player. It's thick without being huge, not too long, gorgeous to look at, fairly comfortable with a nice stretch and full feeling during use. The glass is thick and substantial, slightly heavy and definitely noticeable when it's inserted. Easy to clean with a padded storage pouch.

  This Don Wands glass plug is thick, hefty plug. The glass is firm, with no or flex to it at all, as you expect from glass. It's smooth with just the slightest raised texture where the ribbon of color wraps around the shaft, though not enough of a texture to be felt when in use. The glass seems thick and solid and weighty in the hand - and ass!
  
  As always, glass can be gently heated or cooled using running water and hold temperature well, making it ideal for temperature play. I like it slightly cold for the contrast between the glass and heated flesh but you could certainly start with it pre-warmed for comfort.

  The slightly pointed (a rounded point) tip of this plug bulges into a nice, bulbous shaft then tapers to a thick neck and flared base, all of which are smooth and seamless.
  
  The site specs give the length as 3.5 inches with a 1.5 inch diameter - though the Don Wands site states the diameter is 1.75 at it's largest point. My measuring tape gives it a 5.25 inch circumference.
  
  Regardless, it's a good sized plug. While 1.5 or 1.75 inches may seem not so large with a rubber, jelly or silicone plug, with a glass one it's a good stretch due to the lack of flex, squish or give. You definitely feel this one as you penetrate with it. I wouldn't recommend it to beginners though it may be a bit small for advanced users. I'd say it's perfect for those who fall somewhere in between, for the average anal enthusiast.
  
  The length is quite nice, to me. I'm not too keen on long plugs so this one manages to sit nicely without going too deep or poking at my innards.
  
  The plug is absolutely gorgeous to look at; clear glass with a ribbon swirl that starts out red at the tip and fades into orange and a deep amber. It reminds me of a setting (or maybe rising) sun.
  
  I would like to note that the base is the same size as the widest part of the plug, however, so serious anal players used to larger toys may find it too small to keep the plug from slipping completely inside themselves.

  This gorgeous plug works quite well for extended wear or during masturbation. I'm not entirely fond of it during intercourse, however, as the glass doesn't flex or give with the body and it almost seems too large. This may just be personal preference, however.
  
  The only issue I had with it's performance is the slightly thick shaft. While it makes me feel safer than a thin shaft, it also isn't much smaller than the plug itself, making it a bit more difficult to retain. The rounded glass base can also be uncomfortable if you're sitting on a hard surface, especially if you have a less than well padded behind. (Not a problem I have, fortunately)
  
  Beyond that, it works wonderfully and feels terrific. It gives a nice stretch with insertion and a pleasant full feeling during use.
  
  Just be careful during orgasm and it may slide loose.

  Glass is non porous and can be easily cleaned in a multitude of ways. Soap (or toy cleaner) and water work well but it can also be put in the dishwasher (top shelf, no soap), wiped down with a ten percent bleach solution or boiled. Glass also tends to pick up very little lint, pet hair or dust so it's easy to just give it a rinse or wipedown before use and not worry about having to scrub each time you want to give it a go.
  
  Like all Don Wands glass toys, this one comes with a plush, velvety drawstring bag and should absolutely be stored in this bag to protect it from banging into other toys or in case of being dropped - the padding may not completely protect it but it sure can't hurt.
  
  Glass can also be used with any type of lube; water based, silicone or oil based.
