Glass, in its simplest form, is smooth in texture, body safe, with a firm, solid feeling against skin or when inserted. This glass piece, like most others, feels dense and larger than its actual size, but its smooth, slick surface, with gradual swells along the shaft, will not irritate those who prefer to avoid strongly textured toys.
This toy's appeal comes from the simplicity and sophistication of its design. It's a beautiful, shiny, black glass with an easily grasped globe at the end of a gradually rippled shaft that is excellent for internal stimulation. Anyone unfamiliar with toys of this kind, may have trouble guessing its true purpose. While privacy may be preserved, traveling with a glass piece may have unpredictably undesirable results.
Glass holds up very well, with care and this design produces both gentle and vigorous g-spot stimulation, depending on the effort put forth by the user. The solidly-sizes globe handle at one end is very effective for maintaining control over the toy during use.
Glass is an excellent material for easy cleaning and body safety. You can be assured of a clean toy with simple use of antibacterial soap and water or you can clean more intensively with boiling or placing it on the top rack of your dishwasher. Storage is easy, as well, with the use of the packaging provided — a very sturdy box with custom-cut foam padding for a snug fit.
I loved the design for this product, from the packaging to the toy itself. Unlike other porn-star inspired toys, this is packed in sleek black box with subtle imaging of Sasha and effective use of a grey on black color scheme to carry out the Sasha Grey "theme." The black glass is sexy and the swelling shaft slides easily when coated with my favorite silicone lube (however, any lube can be used with this toy). I am not a fan of ridges, bumps or heavy texture in glass, but this design is restrained enough to please me. I don't own very many glass toys, but this has just moved to the top of the list as my favorite.
