The most appropriate box to check was friends or family but that is so vague that includes lesbian choir, bdsm parties or a political protest.
I agree, it's very vague - I met one of my partners when she walked through our dorm introducing herself to everyone at the beginning of the school year, and the other one at a weekend retreat for queer students, so I don't have an easy box to check for either of them.
Um... I met mine at a queer youth group meet at a gum clinic in Soho, and then followed him back to his house...
At the time I couldn't've ever seen myself getting involved with him, but I really like him now..
I met my girlfriend through friends during our freshman year of college. A friend introduced us because her ex-boyfriend was trying to ask me out. Obviously he had no luck and we ended up together instead!
We both went to the same Fetish bar. we still go together quite often. everyone there is generally some sort of gay, bi, trans, or flexible, or at the very least non-phobic. it's a great atmosphere. (though we keep falling for straight girls :/ )
We met on OK Cupid. I was logging on to delete the account and there was a message in the inbox. It was my current fiance and future wife/life partner. We used to tell people it was mutual friends, but now we are proud.
