I remember don't remember seeing it, but I remember my grandma crying when Mufasa died in "The Lion King". The first movie I actually remember seeing was "Titanic" when I was about 5. What was the first movie you remember seeing in a movie theater?

Babe. The first part where all the pigs are going to the slaughterhouse and Babe is crying for his mother? Yeah, that traumatized me for a while. I'm shocked it didn't turn me into a lifelong vegetarian.

One of the old Muppet movies...I just have a mental image of a huge Kermit the Frog with theater stairs in front of me. My mom told me that we had to leave early because I was 3 and was much more interested in running up and down the stairs than I was in sitting still and watching a movie.

I love Mary Poppins, I have it on both DVD and VHS, along with the Dark Crystal and the Labrynth.

Mine was "E.T." as well, when I was four. I got a stuffed E.T. for my birthday when I turned five because I loved that movie so much.

I remember seeing the Mask when I was young. My grandfather (deceased) and mother went so they took me with them. I remember laughing so much that my grandfather put his hand over my mouth just so they could hear the movie.

oh PS - i just quickly looked up ET, it was first in theatres in 1982 ... since i was born in 1980, i can only assume that ET must have been in theatres for a long time

I think it might have been Pocahontas, but that was probably because the theater burned down shortly after we saw it. I was 7 or so.

The Cheyenne Social Club. A western. I was about 6 or 7? Dad dragged the whole family because it was to be the last movie at the historical theater downtown.

We usually went to the drive in. We still have a drive in here but You have to listen from your car stereo. I used to like the outside speakers so I wouldn't have to stay in the car. Things just ain't like they used to be!
