Prefer cats over dogs - less maintenance. And cats that normally don't approach people always end up in my lap and being petted. Friends always called my cat my 'familiar', too ... apparently, I really give off a 'witchy' vibe when I have my own cat around.

I have a fou-fou dog right now, though. He's very attached to me and I love him dearly, but I miss having a cat. At least he was raised with cats so I don't have to worry about him when I do get another cat.

I voted cat, but here's the thing: you can never go wrong with a bunny. They're so fluffy and sweet and really adapt to their owners. <3

(Yes, I have a rabbit. We also have a dog and a cat, but the rabbit's my fav.)

My fiancee and I are big animals lovers, but we will most likely have a cat over a dog since we're both busy people and cats are generally less work.

Cats! I love dogs, specifically, looking at dogs. But I can't get over how unrestrained they are (I hate it when they try to jump on me), or their slobber, or their smell. I just can't stand it.

I'm a total dog person. No one is better at love than dogs.

I enjoy cats as well, as long as they're someone else's. I mostly can't handle the concept of the litter box. It reeks, it gets gritty junk everywhere...Bleh. Someday, when I move out of the city after graduate school, I hope to have land and horses I'll happily have barn kitties. But no house cats.

I have both - but I have a bedroom bunny that I much prefer over the other animals.

He's litter box trained - doesn't bark or bite or meow.

Only problem?

He likes to lie beside me on the bed at some of the worst times. Its like now he hears a vibrator turn on and he HAS to jump up on the bed and watch mommy and daddy.

(He's neutered too!)
