Dark chocolate is A LOT healthier and a much richer, more interesting flavor. I didn't use to like it, but now I prefer it most of the time, usually 60% to 75% cocoa. Sometimes, I'll eat milk chocolate at the same time and kind of "mix" them to get just the right sweetness/cocoa ratio.
A lot of people don't realize it's possible (and fairly easy) to re-train the palate away from unhealthy foods and towards healthy ones. I can thank my wife for teaching me to love dark chocolate, among many other improvements.
