What do you do with your used/unwanted sex toys that are still in good condition?

I'm starting to learn that sometimes sex toys are hit or miss. I have a few toys now that I either don't want anymore since I have better options at hand or perhaps they just never worked out for me in the first place (for example, my Smart Balls... they just don't work for me and I have only used them once!) I feel like it is a waste of money sometimes and I feel guilty for it, but what's the point in using stuff you don't like right?

Now usually when I purchase something that doesn't work out or that I don't need in the non-sex toy department, I donate it to whoever needs it or perhaps the local Goodwill... I'm assuming my toys would not be welcome THERE... Even if I had friends that I felt comfortable talking to about sex toys, the idea of a used sex toy just seems sort of weird and dirty to me (even though clearly there are ways to clean most of these).

What are your thoughts?

I have 6 girls who are really close to me. 2 of wich I have had sex with so if they can have sex with me whats the big deal with them using a toy of mine after its cleaned. Normally if I dont like it ile put it to the side and it sits at the bottom of my box for a while. If its been a while or I absolutly hate it ile clean it and ask my best friends if they want it. They are super close, and its santiized even then.

I wouldnt give a liberator or something that cant be completly sanitized.

If none of them want it(witch usally someone will use it) its garbage if my friend takes it an doenst like it she can throw it away for all i care.

I recycle them, give them to a friend, or keep them until they can be recycled. It depends, really.

I give unwanted toys to my sister or to a friend (only if they can be boiled or cleaned with rubbing alcohol). If they can't, then I keep them around just in case

I mean the idea IS a bit weird I think... trading used sex toys and such... but since I'm not close enough to anybody to even talk about sex with them much less trade sex toys I feel like it is such a waste of space to keep around yet also a waste just to throw them away!

I just throw them away, after they sit in the bottom of my toy box for a while and I know I won't use it, I toss it. I have close friends but that just isn't something I would be comfortable sharing. Kudos to those who do.

If it's something that can be sterilized, I see no harm in passing it onto a friend. Throwing any away would just be a shame.

I'd never share/give a sex toy that I've used, I have passed on collars or cuffs that didn't fit properly or that I didn't care for. I've given a friend sex toys that I never used or were free with purchases. I have no use for some of them, and I'd rather someone enjoys them if they will.

I am the type of person to where if I bought it I keep it and try to find a use for it. If I can't then I just can't see throwing it away if it is in good condition. Maybe I will find a use for it or be able to use it for decoration. Who knows?! I leave endless possibilities in my mind =)

I never throw anything out...but that might just be because I don't have enough toys for space to be an issue. Maybe when the closet starts overflowing with sex toys, I'll purge some.

I try to find different ways to use a toy than what the box says if a toy doesn't work right. Although, yes, sometimes it is really hit or miss.

I know that I have seen somewhere on this site a link to a site that allows you to recycle them and get a $10 gift certificate to that site for new toys. Its one of those toy party sites like surprise parties but I can't remember the name for it.

I've been keeping them...mainly because I don't know what else to do with them. I suppose I'd be willing to part with things that can be completely sanitized but I feel a little awkward asking other people if they want toys I've used. Maybe I'd give them to my girlfriend since we don't actually share toys?

The ones that are in good condition, I keep in a box. Then, there are some I toss out. I don't know anyone at all that would want a used sex toy.
