What is your preferred alcoholic beverage?

We are curious about the community tastes when it comes to alcoholic beverages that we all choose. While we have both been known to drink many different things, we have found over time that we primarily drink wine and then occasionally if we are eating Mexican we enjoy a margarita (tequila). We have set up the types very broadly so that for instance whiskey includes bourbon, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Scotch, so understand that is broad for a reason. What are your preferences, this is multiple choice so if you are primarily a beer drinker but occasionally enjoy a Scotch feel free to select both, then explain your preferences in the comments section. Thanks, look forward to seeing what the bar for a EF party would need to be stocked like to make us all happy.

I rarely drink, but if I do choose to I usually go with pineapple juice and coconut rum, a strawberry daiquiri, or some mixed drink.

I like local beer, good red wine, and liquor sometimes too Maker's mark is excellent, as is Jaegermeister and Drambuie.

We recently found something called American Honey, which is whiskey with a heavy honey taste. It is dangerous it is so good. All the ladies, none of whom are whiskey drinkers, ended up sipping on it over crushed ice all night.

Craft brews for me - use to be called micro brews but some have grown a bit too much be 'micro' - but their quality remains compared to the mega commercial breweries.

I drink beer mostly. Cheap beer, at that. I have been known to enjoy an IPA on occasion.

I'm all for fruity wines.

I also drink vodka. I love the flavored stuff. Oh, and Barenjager is the best stuff EVER!

I prefer red wine over white, but enjoy wine tastings. I'm more of a wine drinker when I do drink (which is rare).

Hard Cider is my preferred 'every day casual' type of alcohol, though I haven't had any for well over a year now.

I don't have a favorite for mixing yet - still trying it all out.

For M, favorite beer is Allagash White. Mixed drink is Bloody Mary.

I voted other, but it is a type of rum.
My newest favourite drink is Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, lots of ice, gingerale, a shot of pineapple juice and the juice of a wedge of lime. Lemon is okay too, but lime really makes it. Yummy!

i used to love bourbon. Jack Daniels & i had a hot thing going on for a while, but 1 night, he & i got way too into it, & now i can't even stand the smell of him. it makes me sad. but i still have Captain Morgan there for me.

Hard liquor, typically vodka.. lately I've liked drinking cape cods (cranberry, vodka, squeeze of lime).. less fill on the belly to get drunk faster (than beer). Plus I don't have the taste buds for beer..
