I have, yes... If the dress just requires a simple alteration, I'll try to fix it myself. I have a few dresses that I'm thinking of having tailored, because they require more extensive sewing fixes than I can do on my own.

It really depends on where it doesn't quite fit. Sometimes a minimizer will solve the problem.

I often come across cute dresses that are cut much smaller in the chest than overall. Then I wear a too tight sports bra to hold them down, lol.

Yeah, sometimes I just have to let the dress go. It's a sad thing to happen. But sometimes all it takes is a little alteration!
