Rebel Love is a SexIs column focusing on unconventional relationships that work in spite of social ignorance and public judgment. I'm looking for nontraditional couples—or not couples—to share insights into how they’ve managed to stay happily together while not fitting the mold. The requirements are that the participants have been together for more than a year, would say they are in love (if not committed in any traditional sense), and are all willing to consent to an interview. In other words, it won't work if you're in a threesome and only two people agree to speak.
Most interviews are conducted over phone via conference call. Your comfort is paramount, so you will be identified by whatever names you'd like. You'll also be offered a final read through of the resulting piece to make sure no private information has been accidentally included.
