I used to think that everyone has had sex but I've noticing that there are a lot of people who are still virgins, like me. I'm 19, never even been kissed lol. I'm just wondering, when did you lose your virginity? and if you're still a virgin, how come? and what do you think about the whole 'virginity' thing? Not a big deal, or...? ExPLAIN!

22 (gonna be 23 in a little over a week) & i'm still a virgin. & by virgin, i mean i've never had intercourse. i still fool around & engage in oral sex (only w/ a guy that i am in a relationship w/ & have been w/ for a few months). i'm personally not into the whole random hook ups. i don't judge people who do, it's their decision, but for me personally, i don't do it. there is only one guy that i want to have sex w/ & that's my bf that i'm w/ now. but i'm waiting till i'm married. i just don't want to have regrets. i have a number of friends who are not virgins & haven't been for a while, & i love talking to them about their experiences & what type of fantasies we have. but till i'm married, i won't have intercourse.

18 and still a virgin. I'm glad I've waited this long, but I feel like if the right guy came along right now, I'd be more than ready. Really though I've only had one opportunity to lose my virgintiy in the past. I was 17 and didn't think I was ready. Sometimes I think I should have, just so it could be over with. But I think ultimately it was the right choice...

There's no option for 16 but I was 16, and that boyfriend and I were together until I was 18, but realized we just weren't right for each other. I don't regret not waiting until I was married b/c it was with someone I loved at the time.

I was 21. For me, I had a very strict definition of my own virginity being vaginal penetration by a penis, and that almost got me into trouble because I didn't get tested when I first became sexually active because I was trying to lie to myself about BEING sexually active. It was a really big deal for me though, and my partner and I decided we were both ready, then we waited until the time felt right. It was everything I wanted out of it, really.
