I do prefer it but not really for using the shower or bath but for when cleaning I know the toys won't get ruined.

I greatly prefer waterproof toys. I sometimes take them in the tub/shower, and even if I didn't, the easy clean-up is always good. And, there's so many spiffy waterproof toys that I haven't yet seen one that isn't that I really really wanted.

I do sometimes use my toys in the shower, so there's that reason, but also for the cleaning purpose of the toy. I wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly good vibrator, because let's face it, accidents happen when cleaning more times than not.

I hardly ever use mine in the bathtub or shower, but it's soooo much easier to clean waterproof ones, so if I was choosing between something waterproof & non-waterproof, the waterproof one would probably get the nod from me.

If I fall in love with a toy that isn't, I'll probably still buy the toy. I greatly prefer it, though. I feel more confident in cleaning my toys up if I can submerge all parts.
