I'm not sure if you're aware but your polls aren't very inclusive. There is a HUGE jump between someone at least 5 years younger than someone or someone at least 9 years older. Then your other option is at least 10 years older which is only adding an extra year to the second option.
You might find you get more participation in your polls if you include more options....
Well, since my hubby is 19 years older than me, then I put 10+ years. They need to be older no matter what, and not at all close to my age. I dated boys my age, and that's exactly what they were "boys". I have a man now and I am so happy I found him!
I hate to admit it, but, I like men younger than me. Something about the babyface, the young spirit, and the fact they're not fully set in their ways intrigues me. (I'm talking like late teens, early 20s.)
I assume the option was meant to be up to 9 years older. In theory, I like men older than me, which is why its funny that my sweetest sweets is younger than me.
Its weird being 'the older woman'. But I like it.
It's really about the person, though a huge age difference can bring about issues of being in different places in life and having completely different reference points. I've dated both younger and older and I've experienced that before.
Umm... there's no other choice, so other for me. I want someone my SAME age, or at least within a year or two up or down. My husband is only a couple months older.
Other for me too. Right around my age is good. =) Right now my bf is 2 years younger than me, but that is just fate. My sister is 2 years older than her hubby, my mom 2 years older than my dad, my sis in law is 2 years older than my bro, my grandmas on both sides are 2 years older than my grandpas. I think it was just destined to be that way lol
I've always dated guys that were either inside 5 years difference from me The youngest I have gone was 16 when I was 19. The guy was intelligent and I truly loved him. It lasted 3 months though.
the thought of being with anyone younger than me just freaks me out, always has. my personal rule is no one who is less than 2 years older at the minimum.
