I've done it in the past and it's never bothered me (or whoever I was with)... but in the past few years, I've started getting increasingly horrific cramps, so just the thought of sex then makes my girly bits seal shut.

We do. Mrs finds that the orgasm helps with cramps. We do find that Mrs' natural lubricant is much less at this time. Mr doesn't have any issues with it at all...in fact he has a saying from his Navy days (that Mrs isn't all that fond of) "You can ride the red river, I just wouldn't drink from it".

But that's us. You should always do what you feel comfortable with. Don't knock it 'til you tried it though.

As someone who has a period, I'm always afraid of having sex during it. I feel guilty and like someone wouldn't want to do it with me like that, so I just avoid having sex when I'm on it

It's natural, and hey I dont really care, it's just blood. If you're in the mood alot when you're bleeding(not me) there are soft-cups called insteads you can put in and have sex with them in. If you've done anal and haven't had sex on your period because it's too gross... that's not an excuse since the latter can be equally as messy and "gross" as the backdoor if you're not cleaned out. Also, even if you dont think you will want to have sex on your period, the soft-cups might be a good idea just in case since my male counterpart said its not pleasant when it goes up the urethra, ouch
