Unfortunately all my favorite tops despise uppity bottoms, so I'm not sure about a whole book, but makes for some interesting short stories in a mix.

I think erotica is very personal. Write what makes you happy!

LOL... I've been married, like, forever. Same guy, no sequel. I prefer hotels with turn down service... the stories are just as dirty, but I get to stay clean!!
Amen... show me a campsite with room service and a cushy bed and I'm there!

Ahhh, so this is the guy you married. Very cool! And I agree I prefer hotels with turn down service as well.

My idea of roughing it is a hotel that serves cheap coffee and has no room service.
Hotels with no room service? What is this horror of which you speak???

(if anyone was still wondering at this point, NO I do NOT camp )

I love steam punk, didn't realise there was steam punk erotica. I'll certainly be looking for some now

D. L. King has a steam punk erotica antho coming out next year from Cleis. Carnal Machines, I think it's called.

I have gotten a few stories, but the deadline isn't until February 15, so I expect to get a flood of submissions in that last month or so.

There is a lot more steampunk out there than you might realize. Not necessarily erotica or erotic romance, but the sci-fi/fantasy section at B&N had at least ten new steampunk novels when I was there over the weekend.

There's definitely a lot of it out there now but it's mostly all 'mainstream'. Not the yummy sexy kind of steampunk

I know this is TOTALLY off topic, and not at all erotic, but if anyone wants to see the Rockefeller Center tree lit, and they show it on tv where you live, it's coming up momentarily....

Is THAT where everybody went!

Tempting, but I'd better get back to writing. Deadlines loom.

Mmm... absinthe! And Mitzi Szereto has a fabulous call for gothic erotica submissions that I can't wait to submit to!

Yes, she does. I just presented it to the reps today and there was great excitement. Ahem, there was also some gleeful reponse to Dream Lover and Lesbian Cops, two uber hot titles for Spring 2011.

*sigh* I can't help it. Christmas in Manhattan is one of my favorite things in the world and the tree, the Rockettes, and the absolutely insane crowds are what let me know it's Christmastime.

Ahh... reminds me of my stay at the Heathman Hotel in Portland, OR last month! They offer an "intimacy kit" for $7 (it's on the minibar with the chips and candy bars and other snacks!). It includes 2 condoms, 2 wipes and lubricant!! Awesome idea!

Of course... one night they left what I thought was a blindfold by my bed during turndown service. Um... it was a sleeping mask! My mind was going somewhere else entirely! (The next night, they left earplugs... I figured it was some sort of kinky sensory deprivation theme!)
