I find that I set aside one day of the week to clean all of my toys. It's usually on a Friday since it's the end of the week and I'm not really all that busy. I keep all my dirty toys and set them in a plastic shoe box with a towel in it (most of them are glass)and slide it under the bed until cleaning day. It may not be the safest thing to do, but all of my toys are non-porous. The porous toys get washed immediately.
There are those days where the toy has so much lubricant on it that cleaning it after use is a must, but it's only once in a while. And to be honest, I try to clean my toys after use when I can. I just keep that plastic box there for those nights when the orgasms have sucked the life out of me.
What I'm wondering is, does anyone else do something like this? Or do you stick to an immediate or daily cleaning ritual? less

We almost always clean them right away when we are finished, but I'll I admit that we occasionally fall asleep exhausted together before doing so.
Either way, the toys don't get put away until they are properly cleaned.

if I'm playing with a partner I usually get the cleaning done when I clean up and go to the bathroom, but for some reason if it's just me I tend to put them in a "quarantine" area a bit like the box you talk abut.
I often find myself kicking myself when the toy I want to use is still in quarantine cause I've been super lazy

I try to clean my toys right after use (or after I wake up from a mini-nap) otherwise I tend to forget to do it and go looking for a toy and find out that...I can't use it! Which totally kills the mood. For my non-porous toys, I like to set aside a big cleaning-fest to boil and/or wipe down with a 10% bleach solution, just to make sure they're extra clean.

Normally, I'll clean them right after use. But once in a while, I'll wait until the next morning; like if I'm with my partner and it's late and we just want to cuddle, I won't worry about the toys right at that moment.

When I am done with them. Sometimes I will wipe one down with a toy wipe before I use it too depending on the material, how long it has been since I last used it and if it looks dirty.

I usually clean them right after use with some soap and hot water, but occasionally I'll be tired, so I'll just wrap my toys in a towel and fall asleep immediately after. Those I'll wash in the morning. All my toys are non-porous so I don't worry too much about waiting a bit. The only time I am really anal about cleaning right after play is if anything has been in the butt.

I'm a wee bit paranoid. So I clean my toys after use, but I also take out all my toys and them super-thoroughly about once a week. I also clean my toy bag, change batteries, and charge re-charables at that time.

Most of my insertable toys get cleaned right after, a few of them like glass or stainless may sit for a day or two. They go on a towel or shirt and get wrapped up. All of my strokers get cleaned right after play since they cannot be sanitized.
