Do you occasionally go through your toy box and get rid of any toys or props that are broken/damaged? Does it make you feel sadly nostalgic, or refreshed?
Indifferent, mostly it give me an excuse to buy a newer better version of that type of toy.
We did go through a while back and throw out toys we just didn't like, didn't use anymore, or even some from when we would just go to the college town toy shop and buy what looked interesting at a college budget (read: jelly ect)
I don't mind getting rid of things if they're broken. Sometimes I throw things out just because I don't like them. Then I usually have a moment of feeling like I should keep it just because it's wasteful to throw it away. But if it's just sitting there, taking up space and will never be used, I really don't think it's any better to keep it.

It makes me sad to not use (or have to give away) any decent toy, which is all I've intended to acquire. We can only play with so many, though. Some just end up as faves and tend to hog all the attention. Broken toys: Pretty indifferent, unless I did something retarded to break it.

Generally speaking, anything broken is something is something that was not great quality to begin with....
We don't have a very large collection either. My guess is about 15 pieces (including vibrators and bdsm props), but some of them just don't work for us or were damaged, so there was no point in keeping them.

For the first time in over 40 years of TOY BUYING I trashed hundreds...maybe more, JELLY TOYS due to Health issues (and honestly, they were melting and discoloring from old age...some not used in 30 years or more). Replacing them with NEW, HIGH END silicone toys. However, just found another BIG stash of toys...some Jelly, AGAIN. Yikes. Yes, I do feel sad when tossing out these old friends.
