Neither of my parents never even had the sex talk with me or my brother. Even as a teen when I asked my mom to put me on birth control for my acne (it was actually to help with that at the time), she didn't say a thing about it but did make me an appointment and bring me to the docs.

No way. My parents barely had the sex talk with me! I started masturbating very early and discovered the internet and porn quickly afterwards, I'm pretty sure I knew more about sex and masturbation at 15 then my parents do NOW. My mother especially is VERY very anti non-hetero-normative sex, she's even told me she's disgusted by oral sex, I highly doubt she's understanding about masturbation.
