Conquest

Surprisingly I enjoyed Conquest, it made a great couples' film, and a pretty decent solo film too. Despite the fact that it looks like it was filmed decades before I was born I found it enticing and believable- but being made in 1996 I can’t really fault the quality. I’ve watched a lot of Wicked’s films and being able to see Brad Armstrong young and virile and in his prime was pretty spectacular. His lovely co-star Jenna Jameson is also a different woman in the film than she is now.

Its plot involves pirates rescuing a friend from the gallows, and wenches pretending to be pirate men and adventures on the high seas, with adventures leaning towards sex and vengeance. The story line is both believable and captivating. It almost seems like the sex is just a delicious bonus, you actually get into the storyline and want to follow it- taking little sex breaks in-between. Straight couples sex, anal and Jenna and pearls, a little girl on girl, blowjobs and oral, and doggy style and all sorts of positions, group sex with frenzied fucking and pirate gangbangs- the sex was delicious.

With such exotic locations you can’t help but get a little wet imagining yourself on those beaches with the ocean all around you. On top of the locations the way they portray the sets is lavish and authentic. The costumes are beautiful and fit perfectly with the pirate-y theme. The music fits the scenes and the time frame, and is different from your typical techno-synth porn music.

Overall I left happy and satisfied with Conquest, and I’m sure I’ll watch it again sometime soon.

Curse Eternal

Wicked has a condom policy and I strongly and thoroughly agree with this. However, it makes for one hell of a continuity error if you’re asking people to believe that ancient Egyptians used condoms, but I say grin and bear it and just enjoy the sex.

The story follows Jessica Drake, who plays an archeologist who is called to Egypt to investigate the ruins of the tomb of Princess Neferkala, played by Kaylani Lei. Jessica’s dead father is played by Randy Spears who is the one to originally awaken the Princess. The Princess’ lover, whom the curse is rumored to have started over is played by Eric Masterson. It turns out that Jessica’s boyfriend, also played by Masterson, is the reincarnation of the Princess’ lover, and reuniting with him is one of the ways to cure the curse.

Once again Wicked delivers sets that are beautiful and exotic. Costumes that are seductive and fit within the time and mood of the film. The music isn’t completely and ridiculously pornorific, in fact it too almost fits the whole feeling of the film.

The sex is interesting with a threesome happening in two spaces in time, once in the past and once in the present, some anal, girl on girl, oral, some group sex.

Overall another nice addition to the collection.
