Playgirl: Lessons In Love - dvd by Playgirl TV - review by Library Girl

This DVD is organized by scene. Each scene starts with a title and premise, however thin. Sometimes there is a voice over, or some dialogue to establish the scene. There is a soundtrack to each scene that can be distracting. It overpowers the actual actors, and I'm someone who likes to hear the moaning or screaming and it's quite muted. Of course the music can be lame at times.

It's a good DVD for women because the sex is a bit more gentle and at times emotional. There are different scenarios, so something should appeal to everyone. A lot of the sex concentrates on kissing the breasts and oral sex. The oral sex could be inspirational for men and women as the shots really get right in there.

The voice over can be silly at times. Funniest line I've ever heard - "I'm the best suck he's ever had".

Some of the scenes are very themed. My favorite was called "Projector" because it had a huge muscular man holding the women up on his chest, and just pounding away. Something I've always wanted to do! Another gothicly themed scene was set in a church, and may offend some by the use of one of those kneeling stands for prayer, for a very enthusiastic blow job. The height of it was perfect and it's apparently a great idea, but it could be offensive.

This DVD has a lot of actors in it due to the way it's organized. There are numerous scenes with at least one couple featured in each scene. They're all attractive and good actors, according to what you need in a porn movie. They connect well emotionally to add that extra element to the scene.

One aspect of the acting that confused me was that in parts of the scene the man would obviously not have a condom on, and then in a couple minutes he would even though nothing had changed except the position. I'm not sure why this was.

I had major technical issues with this DVD, and did not get through the entire menu. But it starts with the standard DVD menu where you can hit play or skip to a specific scene. The scenes are organized by themed sex scenes. According to the DVD case there are extras on the DVD, but I was unable to access them due to technical problems.

Between the sex scenes there are commercials for Playboy TV! I found this very annoying.

I was looking forward to reviewing this DVD. However, I could not get it to play on either of my DVD players. One of them is brand new, and the other is an older model, but I've never had problems with either of them before. It gave me a weird error message that it couldn't even read the DVD. In the end I could only get it to play on my computer after much fussing. And it even crashed the computer twice. I never did see the last half hour because I got tired of rebooting my computer.

I don't know if this is a quality control issue that others would experience or I just happened to get the one bad copy.
