Playgirl: Explosive Fantasies review

I was a little bit hesitant when I ordered what was going to be my first adult movie. Playgirl: Explosive Fantasies sounded interesting, so I couldn’t wait to see what all of the porn hype was all about.

When my fiancé and I put in the DVD, we were both so hot already we figured that it would not take much to get us going. When the video first started, it had the typical quick clips of intense sex, and then the first mini movie got started.

I can sum up this movie in one word, cheesy. There was no dialog, just some kind of strange latin sounding guitar music to go along with the super slow, wind blowing through the hair moments.

When things finally started to heat up, there was a nice looking guy with way too much hair and a pretty average looking woman. Things started with way too much foreplay then went to oral on both then to sex. There was definitely nothing special about this film.

I had hoped that things would get better with the second movie. In this movie, I found more cheesy music along with a nice looking guy and exotic lady who spoke no English. I guess that this was supposed to be a fantasy for someone; it didn’t do anything for me or my fiancé.

Again, there was a lot of touching and foreplay. There were several strange, distracting shots of backs and shoulders. What dialogue I could understand was horrible. There was nothing about it that sounded natural. I did like the fact that there were a lot of nice close up shots.

I could not believe how lame the next set up was. It opens with a war scene; you see the main characters, a soldier and a nurse. I guess that is a fantasy of some people; again, not a fantasy of mine or my fiancé. It was an interracial scene, which did not work for us either. This was about the same as the other movies: oral on her, then him, then sex. Again, nothing special.

The last two movies really disappointed me. The men in these really did nothing for me. The women in them were as before, pretty but average. There really was no plot in any of these movies. All of the scenes included either a strange setting or strange music.

Overall, I was not impressed with this DVD. I think that this movie would be great for couples that like a lot of touching before sex. Unless you want to fast forward through most of this movie, I would recommend trying something else.
