The Collector by Wicked Pictures - review by LadyJiyae

*The Packaging*
The packaging was a like a little envelope that opens at the top. The outer box has a piece of clear plastic to create sort of a window or peep-hole type effect, which I did enjoy. The front cover (see image below) shows off quite well what you've got to expect from this movie. Once you've opened your little box, there is a tray inside with even more images from the movie and finally, you'll find your disc. Wicked made, this a fun little case to open and tease you with at the same time.


*The Plot*
Overall, the plot was quite good. I liked the pacing of the storyline and how Jessica Drake's character tied the scenes together with her narration. The plot tells the story of a young woman working for a rich eccentric collector of rare items. Over time, he becomes bored with his collections and looks for something more lewd to do with the items he's collected. It does start a little slow and there is nearly ten minutes before any words of any kind are spoken. After the first sex scene, which is a solo play with Drake, the story does pick up a bit and the flow is a lot better.

*The Acting*
Overall, I'd give the acting a 3.5/5 stars. Jessica Drake was pretty on the spot the whole movie but some of the other supporting characters still lacked in their performance. I did quite enjoy the character choice of The Collector himself. And completely removing him from the sexual situations added something for the acting, I think. And as usual with Wicked movies, I was quite happy with Brad Armstrong's performance (even if his acting role was very brief). Not many of the characters had dialogue or really did much besides being eye candy.


*The Sex*
If you like non-sexual items used in a sexual manner, boy is this your movie. You'll find things used like a hairbrush, African masks, cars, books, and other items used in various ways throughout the movie. Some popular positions used throughout the film are both kinds of threesomes, solo play, double penetration, and every scene has a voyeur. You'll also see several scenes involving cum swapping and ejaculations on faces or objects.
I think my personal favorite was the Silver Screen scene between Drake and another lovely lady whom are both adorned with diamond clothing. Armstrong's choice of using the black and white filter in combination with the color film was such a joy for me. I am always quite pleased with Armstrong's directing choices and how he expresses the sensual, the kinky, and the desire between his characters. It adds a more erotic vibe to myself as a viewer.

Overall, this was a good movie and I would definitely watch it again.
I recommend this to anyone and anyone who wants a little plot with their porn, likes insertion, double penetration, threesomes, and girls taking a cum shot to the face.

I went into this with an open mind and was quite pleased at how good the movie turned out to be. As with most Blockbusters I do think it is viewed best with a partner, but either way, you'll enjoy the movie. But personally, I was not a fan of the hairbrush scene.

I just recently watched this with my boyfriend and found most of the scenes really bizarre and a total turn off. Especially the part with the African mask. Some scenes I still like, and would probably just skip right to those scenes and then switch to a different porn to continue our play time.
