Crystal Chic Wand - Che chic
4/5 Because of the rattling noise sometimes (which can be a little distracting) and the trickiness of keeping it clean. Still, it's a nice anal toy that it stylish to boot.Published: November 13, 2009
Pros:
Battery lasts long, great vibes, phthalates-free, water-proof.
Cons:
Could harbor bacteria, not easy to clean.
Experience
Very bendable and versatile, but possibly hard to clean. Make sure you put a condom on this toy for easy cleaning! A copy of the cleaning instruction sheet is available on my blog along with the full review!
Follow-up commentary

Definitely still like this one. Since my little arms are so short and the Crystal chic wand is so long, it's easy to insert it from any angle and any position that I get myself into by myself or with my hubby.

Vibrating anal beads?
-
I was just wondering because I read somewhere that the large intestine's walls does not feel pain... So how can you exactly feel the vibrations anywhere but near the sphincter? Any thoughts on those with experience in this?

But it can feel discomfort and stuff. Think of how you feel when you are constipated or have gas (sorry gross I know)

Thank you for viewing Crystal chic wand – vibrator review page!

Looks like fun other than the difficulty to keep it clean!! Great review!
I may be receiving this one soon...I hope so! It looks fun. Thanks for your review
~miss.heather~ Thanks! If you put a condom over it, it's really not that bad to clean. That way, the condom keeps everything clean and no little bacteria buggies can infiltrate the hollow cores of the beads. Still, it'll need to be washed after use even if you do use a condom. I leave mine stretched out, then click it back in place when it's completely dry.

Useful images indeed.
Just curious, what is the difference between plastic and: ABS and PU Cote ?
ABS is hard plastic. PU Cote is polyurethane. They are both phthalates-free At least, that's what Al Bloom from Cal Exotics told me. I'm not sure why EF lists the Crystal Chic Wand as being made of plastic instead of being more specific. It actually says on the box that it is made of ABS and PU Cote.
Thanks.
Is there a difference between plastic and ABS?
Not that I'm aware of. ABS is hard plastic.
EF saying that it is made of "Plastic" is just a general category. The plastic itself is composed of ABS and PU Cote. There are probably different types of plastics, though, that are composed of elements other than ABS and PU Cote.
I wonder if acrylic is considered a type of plastic. Hmm...
Yes. Acrylic is a glassy thermoplastic material. Aside from plastic, it can also be found in certain paints and fabrics.
Great info. Thank you very much!
No problem!
good review.!!!
Great review, seems like a lot of fun

Thank you!
Thanks so much for adding the estimated battery life by levels!
Glad it helped!
Oh that's too bad about the cleaning. Seems like a common issue with this type of toys. Thanks for the review!
Yeah. Due to that issue, it went to a sex toy recycling program a while ago.
