Just how hard do you like it?

If you're someone who's into crying, screaming, teeth-grinding pain, then you'll certainly love the Liquid Truncheon. It's for heavier players who really enjoy giving a sort of calming pain, one that makes their submissive's knees go weak. It's certainly like liquid with its flexibility, and can be used on many parts of the body to give varying levels of pain. And under its strike, no one's bottom stands a chance.

Use

One thing is certain of this baby's use, above all else: be extremely careful. The Liquid Truncheon is a hardcore piece of equipment that can leave a person feeling in excruciating pain. It's curved and flexible, meaning that it can be used to give softer to gradually deeper strikes. But I do recommend extreme caution—because it's so flexible, you can easily make a mistake and hit a target you didn't want to. Practice before use is always a good thing, so that both you and your partner can get the desired effect that you want.

Because it's so bendable and thick, you can use it in a number of different ways, in different places. It can be bent over to give a softer, more firm hit on the thighs, bum, arms—any place tender that could use some nice, firm smacks. It can also be used with either curved side, each giving different intensities of strikes. But when used with its full length, you get that smacking feeling that's calming, painful, and feels so good. After hitting the same area multiple times, the welts left will remain for quite a while.

When you're done, you can hang it up or put it away, let it rest until next time.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

Made of a firm, but movable neoprene rubber, the Liquid Truncheon is a mixture between a truncheon and a whip, in both flexibility and form. It has a handle made of a small piece of rubber that curves over to form a loop and is covered by a thin layer of rubber to keep it together. It's very easy to hold on and, once practiced with enough, is very fun to use. The end of the Liquid Truncheon is shaved to make an edge, which actually surprised me because the picture on Eden Fantasys made it look like a little plug or stopper to finish it.

The neoprene rubber that this piece is made out of has barely any scent and only a slight taste, not anything offensive though. The smell isn't bad at all and isn't strong; it's actually very pleasing to know that the rubber won't stink up your entire room, considering the smells of most rubbers out there. Because it is a solid piece of rubber, it can give an extremely painful sting that can last for about twenty seconds. If repeatedly used on the same spot, the pain can last for hours.

Leatherbeaten's Liquid Truncheon is 14" in usable length with a diameter of 1/2". (Though it is 18" in total length, four of those inches are for the handle.) That's a whole lot of rubber, in my opinion, making it fairly heavy to give a nice smacking. Because of it's length, you can fold it over, store it easily, and use it to your wants and needs. And it even has a little loop that you can hang it up with!

Performance

After only testing it out on myself (my arm, with short, light strokes), I got red marks that lasted for about ten minutes. You can only imagine what it does in actual use. Yes, you can certainly bruise with Leatherbeaten's Liquid Truncheon, and I am absolutely loving that. This is the type of piece that's used for special punishments or times when you or your partner is feeling really sadistic (or likewise, masochistic). When in contact with the skin, it makes a deep smacking sound, similar to a smack with a cupped hand (only harder, louder, and certainly more painful). It definitely gives the type of response that any person buying this thing wants; really, if you didn't want someone screaming and crying in pain, then you would not buy the Liquid Truncheon.

I will say one thing about this piece, and I will be derogatory about it...it hurts like a bitch.

Care and Maintenance

If the Liquid Truncheon ever gets mucked up, you can just wipe it down with some soap and water. It can't be sterilized, of course, because it is neoprene rubber, but it can still be cleaned and used whenever you're ready to use it. Because it's so bendable, it can be folded and stored in drawers, boxes, or any other place you deem necessary. It does have a loop on the handle too that you can store it with by hanging it up. Whatever you choose to do (keep it locked away from the children, keep it safe from anyone finding it), the neoprene rubber will remain sturdy and untouchable by any forces.

Packaging

The Liquid Truncheon came in a plastic baggie, folded over and taped, with a tag attached to its loop hanger. On the front of the tag is a little picture of a person beating someone's bum, and on the back is a little paragraph about the Liquid Truncheon. I personally love the tag and its paragraph, it sums this piece up so well:

"This one has a lot of personality, but not too much charm. That's another way of saying it's a rather forceful piece that has trouble taking 'no' for an answer. Actually, it has trouble taking anything for an answer except short, pithy phrases like "ouch," "arrgghh," "that hurts," and "please, please stop." But then, what can you expect from an 18" length of 1/2" diameter solid neoprene rubber? Sympathy?"

Personal comments

I absolutely love this Liquid Truncheon. I cannot even begin to describe my love for this piece. It's so beautiful, works so well, and makes me feel so good when I'm using it on my little girl. While writing the review, I tried to look up some websites that might give a better way of describing how to use it than I did, but what came up (funny enough) was a police report on when to use truncheons and that they're only designed for "special cases." Indeed, the Liquid Truncheon is only designed for "special" times.

Note: Bees rated for submissive's response when the Liquid Truncheon is used on them and for the smacking sound that it makes when in contact with skin.

It is a bit scary, Shan. But it's very good for people who love pain or who love giving it. It's not a first product to own of this type, DEFINITELY not. Start out small, work your way up to something like this.
