Spider paddle entrap-her by Ruff doggie styles - review by Sir

Ruff Doggie Styles' Spider Paddle Entrap-Her is a seemingly innocent leather paddle that looks more like an accessory to a Halloween costume than a paddle that packs a huge punch. Surprisingly, it really does. Even though it looks small, petite, and rather cute, the paddle really delivers on its claims of "unsurpassed quality and details." If what you're looking for is a small paddle that gives a hard hit, the Spider Paddle is an excellent choice.

Made of firm leather with an inflexible insert in the handle, the paddle is extremely hard and does not flop around. You can shake this paddle around as much as you'd like, and it simply will not budge. It always stays in the same, erect position, and even bending it with the hands is quite difficult. The only area that can be bent is the very tip of the spanking area, but it does not move around in use. The leather, of course, smells absolutely beautiful, like all of Ruff Doggie Styles' products.

On the back of the paddle is a design of a spider web formed by violet stitching. The violet hue perfectly accents the almost metallic shade of leather on that same side. At the end of the handle is some more stitching formed into a spider, quite beautiful and attractive. There's also a loop of nylon rope at the end of the handle, which can mainly be used for hanging since it does have such a small circumference. The paddle truly has the whole "spider" theme going on, which is really what makes it look more like a Halloween accessory. On the spanking area, however, the paddle is simply plain, black leather. No designs, save for the violet stitching on the border.

The great thing about the paddle is that it not only has intricate designs, but that it also is cut into a peculiar, unique shape. The spanking area of the paddle is actually cut into five points that make up the shape of the web. It's not really a star shape, but that's the closest thing to it. The end of the handle is also cut into a point, almost like a spade. I have a thing for unique impact implements, so when I see something that's interesting and catches my eye, I just have to have it.

In terms of sizing, when I said that the paddle is small and petite earlier, I meant it. It's about 15 1/2" in total length, its spanking area being about 7 1/2" by 4 1/2". Pretty tiny, but still usable. The handle is about eight inches long, which is a great length for getting a firm grip.

For packaging, the paddle simply came in a plastic baggie with a tag on its hanging strap. The tag does not give much product information other than a few short sentences about the paddle's design and how it's used. When cleaning the paddle, keep in mind that it is leather, so using a damp, soapy cloth or using leather cleaner are both sufficient methods. It can be stored either on a shelf or in a closet, so long as it is kept out of direct sunlight and damp areas.

Swinging the paddle is extremely easy, but I do think that a person who does not enjoy pretty severe pain should get this. This paddle, no matter how pretty and innocent it looks, deals an extreme amount of pain if used in certain hands. Sure, it can be used lightly if you really love the design, but it can also be used on people who are "pain sluts." It has the capability of rouging and bruising, whatever your heart desires. Because it's so small, it's great to use between the thighs or in places you might not usually use a paddle, like the breasts or the face (be careful when you do this).

Personally, since I am a whack job about finding unique and interesting impact implements, this paddle was an excellent choice. I was pleasantly surprised, but at the same time not because I know how Ruff Doggie Styles' quality is: excellent. It really is a great paddle for me, and it's so interesting and beautiful. For the price, it's a steal, honestly. It should not be passed up.
