Do not get overexcited
I was please with this product, and it has proven itself. Easy to use, though it just doesn't have enough to keep me coming back. I will keep it on hand, though. A good first toy.Published: August 12, 2010
Pros:
Good for beginners
Cons:
Not exciting after a while
Use
The best use for the 'Lucid dream petites no. 36' is probably going solo. Alone, in the shower is a good time for this toy. When there is that itch that just cannot be scratched with fingers alone, this toy is a good idea. It is just the right length and width for a beginner, and easy enough to use as well. It is a little awkward for clitoral stimulation, but decent enough for vaginal insertion.
Material / Texture
The smell for the 'Lucid dreams petites no. 36' is a bit of a turn off, as it smells of plastic. It does not feel realistic, but that was not very important. The texture is very smooth, with a gentle swirl. It does not provide a lit of friction, but can be put to great use. Before lubricant is applied, it feels like plastic, and is just slightly sticky.

Design / Shape / Size
The design is very attractive, and I like the blue color. The shape is very straightforward. It certainly did what it is made to do, and I have no complaint of the functionality. The size is good for beginners, as it is slim and not overly long. More advanced users might find themselves wanting. I have been using the 'Lucid dreams petites no. 36' for a month, and have already grown a bit bored.
It is not unnecessarily bulky or large, so it is easy to hide in a drawer or box. I use a shoebox under my bed, and have not had a problem.
This is not a purse going toy, as it is a bit too large for such travel. The noise, however, is quite discreet on the lower settings.

Functions / Performance / Controls
On the Lucid dream petites no. 36, the vibrations are located in the 'head'. The control for the intensity of the vibrations is located at the other end, and is a turn-dial on the battery cap. It is easy to use, once one figures out how to use the toy. Easy to control with one hand, as well, if the other hand is busy elsewhere.
Putting batteries in can be a bit of an issue, as it is hard to tell which way they go at first. After that, its a cinch.
The lower settings of the vibration are not noisy, but there is a definite hum on the highest setting. Not overly loud, though, but definitely not something one would want to use in a board meeting.

Care and Maintenance
It is very easy to take care of the 'Lucid dream petites no. 36'. I clean it with warm soap and water before and after use, and make sure to get in the swirl pattern. It is stored easily enough in a box. It should not be used after contact with carpet, because unwanted fibers tend to cling.

Packaging
The packaging of the 'Lucid dream petites no. 36' is somewhat unhelpful when it comes to how to use the toy. It does not explain how to put in the batteries, something which I had trouble with at first. It is, however, good for storage.

Good job! Anything you do/don't like about the material?

Thanks for the review. You may want to comment on the material, what it is, how safe it is, how to clean it etc. Also, you mention "be sure to get it in the swirl pattern." We kind of want to know why the swirl pattern is better. Also, is the toy rigid, bendable, what do the vibrations like (buzzy, deep, throbbing, are there patterns or just straight vibrations?)
Just some tips for better reviews.
Keep on working on these. Maybe the mentor program would help.
Oh, you said to make sure to clean in the swirl. Please disregard this part of my comment. Sorry.
