Telescoping travel pump - penis pump by Cal Exotics - review by CanMan

The Telescoping travel pump came packaged in a nice looking, well pictured cardboard box. The package came with the instructions in detailed pictures printed on the back and side of the box, there were also warnings on the side. So if this is your first time using a pump I would highly suggest you read these warnings. Injury could easily be attained if this product is used incorrectly.

Inside the package is two plastic bags, one contains a clear black telescoping chamber and standard black pump bulb and the other is sealed with a clear rubber sleeve inside. Once opened, The rubber sleeve is very soft and squishy and had a very distinct rubber smell, almost like the smell of new shoes. I washed it twice so far and this did not help the smell, but unless I put my nose right up to it this didn't bother me. The rubber sleeve is all one solid piece with a hole through the middle that has been cut to have a smooth inside. There is a flap around it that lets it hold on to the chamber. The smooth inside was a little disappointing because I am a huge fan of a more textured contour when I am using toys, this make it seem more realistic to me personally. Other than that this sleeve was a great idea, other pumps I have used usually come with a hard plastic sleeve and this can be very ridged and uncomfortable around the penis when it is under pressure from the chamber. So this was definately a huge selling point for me on this pump. The sleeve so far has been universal with my other pumps which was great to find out.

Assembly was easy, the chamber stretches out and then you twist the top part of the chamber clockwise and the bottom counter clock wise to lock it in place for use. In the top of the chamber there is a hole that the pump bulb nozzle will fit into with out a problem. The pump also has a push button quick release valve built into it, to release the pressure in the chamber. The jelly sleeve slides over the bottom of the chamber, lube it up and you are ready to play. The sleeve helped hold the pressure inside very well. I am really happy that I don't have a reason to worry about the noise level of my toys; the air escaping through and around the sleeve sounded like someone passing gas very loudly. This would impair where and when you could use this toy with the sleeve and unless your traveling by yourself I would not recommend bringing the sleeve with out. Now, I was able to fill the chamber with my penis when fully erect but not so much that it affected the way I used the toy. The sleeve helped trap the air inside because it still had a seal around my shaft.

What I did:
1) Washed it with antibacterial soap and warm water.
2) Assembled it (see above).
3) Lubed up the sleeve with Probe Personal Lubricant.
4) I inserted my flaccid penis into the chamber and squeezed the bulb and instantly my cock was sucked through the sleeve and I started to get hard. With a few more I was there.
5) If I held in the quick release button my cock could slide more freely through the sleeve and I could masturbate with it. I could then stop and build the pressure by squeezing the bulb a few more times. This is where all the noise came into play. It really sounded like someone was passing gas, I had to stop myself from laughing at points. It helped that it did feel really good because the air was passing through the sleeve. So really, you have to take the good with the bad I suppose.
6) After playtime was over I took it apart; bulb, chamber and sleeve. Then I washed it again with antibacterial soap and warm water.
7) For storage I used the bag the chamber and bulb came in. The rubber sleeve came in a sealed plastic bag that I had to cut open. I used a Zip-lock bag to store the sleeve in so it does not get dirty. I put it all back in the box and thats a wrap.
