Penis pumps started out as ED devices for men, and used to be obtainable only with a prescription. That is not the case anymore!! There are now numerous choices of pump styles and options. After playing with a few of the bulb style pumps, we opted to try the trigger style control. That is much easier to use, more comfortable for our hands and the versatility and extras to build up a great pump are endless.

We use the pump recreationally. It is a lot of fun for me to watch my husband magically grow to epic proportions, to be in control of his growth spurt, play with added sensations and just have fun with each other. My husband loves the feelings he gets from the suction, the added size for a few minutes afterward and the heightened sensations from taking the pump off.

The pump shaft is made from smooth, hard, clear plastic. This rates an 8 on the material safety scale. Plastic is nonporous, easy to clean and is safe to share after a thorough cleaning. The trigger pump mechanism is also made of plastic. There is no aroma or taste to these parts.

The clear, nubbed inner sleeve is made of Senso. Senso is a soft, stretchy man-made material. This material rates a 2 on the safety scale due to its inability to be disinfected, it attracts dirt and bacteria and stain removal is almost impossible. This sleeve had a strong plastic/rubber/chemical smell that was highly unpleasant. We ended up permanently removing it from the pump and throwing it in the garbage. There was no way I was going to taste it!! The internal nubs really hurt my husband when he tried to use the pump with this sleeve. He said it felt like gravel digging into the shaft of his penis. He used plenty of lube, the sleeve was just a bit too tight and uncomfortable as well as smelling bad.

The black outer sleeve is rubber. Rubber rates a 3 on the safety scale. It is very porous, cannot be disinfected and also has a very long lifespan. On the plus side, it does repel dirt and water. This sleeve had a very strong smell as well. It did lighten up after washing and airing out, however we replaced it with a silicone sleeve off one of his old pumps. Safer and less odiferous.

The cylinder is 9" tall and has an interior diameter of 2 1/4". Only 8" of the height is useable. The last inch is the top and internal sleeve height. You do get an added 1/2" if you remove the internal sleeve. The exterior has measurements extruded from the plastic so you can check your progress out if you wish. The shaft was a bit short, but we knew that when we bought it. We wanted an inexpensive introduction to the trigger pump in case we did not like it or found it to be inconvenient.

The trigger pump is what makes this product shine! It is very easy to use, functions better than the bulbs, in our opinion, and is a lot more convenient and comfortable for us to use. They do sell a separate pressure gauge so that you can measure the vacuum inside the pump and make sure you never over pump. That can damage the tissue. We are really having fun getting used to the trigger and finding new ways to create sensations with it.

This is a completely non-discreet item. I think it is too large for traveling, however some people might enjoy taking it with them. If you do, I recommend storing it in a tube mailer from the post office and you can enclose lube, cock rings, vibrating bullets and a couple other small items in the tube for convenience.

We wash the pump shaft, trigger pump and sleeves in warm soapy water, rinse them off very well and let them air dry. I then go back over everything with toy cleaner and we store it in a mailing tube. The sleeve you decide to use is what will determine your lube compatibility. You are only able to use water based lubes with the internal and external sleeves that come with this product.

We do recommend that you keep your toys separate to prevent chemical reactions between the different types. I always store mine in a zip lock bag, pouch, mailing tube, original box or whatever works the best for our toy boxes.

We removed permanently the internal nubbed sleeve and added a soft masturbator for those times when he wants something else inside. We replaced the rubber sleeve with a silicone one we purchased from Edens a few months ago. This was for our safety and to get rid of all odors associated with the materials. Silicone ended up being much more comfortable, also. We recommend purchasing the pressure gauge if you intend on occasional pump use so you do not damage your penile tissue by over-vaccuuming.
